just a thought though......if you are listing what they call media ( books, mags, comics) normally they are only 5p to list all yr round......;)

    Good evening everyone!

Well I'm using Amazon too and I've listed 70 items today so I'm doing ok! Have had 19 on eBay so far. Hoping to do this fast before I run out of puff!

evening floxxie ;)....great idea about listing 10 items/day..it might be an idea though, to list 10 items /day on to turbo lister, and store them on there until ebay have a half price listing fee day, they tend to have these at least once a month, just an idea to save 50% of your listing fees.....normally if they have a half price listing day, its on a thursday, so its best to put all your stuff on late thursday afternoon to early evening, then list for 10 days, that way, you will get almost 2 full weekends out of it, the best times when people have more time to look on ebay..............dont forget, all those magazines you bought over the yrs, some of them may sell...most things sell......and if you are planning to put them on for a £1 each, its best to put them on for 99p, it just saves that little more on listing fees......gawd blimey, im rabbiting on a bit aint i, but i am only trying to point out how to save just that little bit in fees..........take care yeah, av a giggle...........good luck to you all..........;)

Hi arthurdick, thankyou for your comments. I have often done this in the past although have found that if I am putting things on Turbolister I may as well list them otherwise end up with coping with too many listings or forgetting about them :rotfl:
I'm also not sure whether eBay will continue with cheap listing days - perhaps they will focus on motors for example, but with their new pricing I can only see them doing cheaper BIN listing which I don't do.The new pricing also makes it cheaper to put things on (except BINs) and eBay are gaining on the final fees.
I also wonder whether you get the best price on cheap listing days as everybody is putting their things on. (I'm a real fan of the new eBay;))

Having spent years umming and ahhing over the intricacies of eBay and the pricing I am now at the stage where I just want rid of the stuff (although not give it away!) hence the focus on volume listing rather than profit making.

I'm sure there are plenty of joiners who will take up your suggestion though so thank you! And just to make sure that we do have a laugh, who can list the wierdest item this week?

Blimey! You are putting me to shame. Haven't yet managed to open Amazon (but have moved some books from one room to another!)

Well done. Hope they sell quickly for you.

Is this after you have found access to the cupboard or have you several rooms full of kids toys and clothes that you are going to sell?!

Ok we'll agree that we are the least motivated people to sell on eBay hence the reason why we have several thousand items between us that still need to be sold. Wish I could find somebody to sell my stuff but last time somebody suggested I decided I could do it better than them...and they were going to take an enormous amount of any profit. Decided I would much rather have no space to live in.

And PP I don't have the time for hangovers...they follow me around - all it takes is a couple of glasses of wine and very little sleep and I seem to have a permanent one!

Have to cook As food, go to kiddies party and then back for ....Amazon and GreenMet listing as I can do that whilst watching TV.

Will add on new comers later. Welcome everybody. And if you are already failing the challenge don't panic, there's plenty of time left!

I laughed so much at the thought of your room being so full, and stuff piling outside. Something really struck a chord with that!

Panic over, I've found plenty of stuff to list. It was quite bizarre - I sat down ready to list, and there was nothing in sight. But then I found find a large bag of bras (business) under the desk so have started on that. And once you start...
