You've done very well Purpleroses. Wish my high priced items have sold - one with 12 watchers has just finished unsold
From now on I'm just going to be putting everything I can earn from various things into my debt pot as I am rubbish at keeping a tally on anything...but hopefully I shall remember to update my debt pot total.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
I dont think I can keep up with 10 items a day....more like 10 a month for me.
But I'll certainly pop in here now and again to see how everyone else is doing.
Had a load of items finish today. Sold more than I thoughtI would. Relisted 4 at 99p each (and if they don't sell, I'm sending them to the charity shop).
Unfortunately it looks like I'm about to do my first ever no payment received on an item that I sold last week. Sent two invoices/reminders, tha last yesterday asking for payment by tomorrow. Looking at the buyer, they've only been registered since early Nov, but have been buying loads of stuff (presumably for Crimbo pressies). No negative feedback at all. I can only think that either they have overlooked paying me (in which case the reminder I sent yesterday should do it) or they don't intend to pay (in which case I'll report them). Its a complete nuisance, since I wanted to get rid of this item and it would have made a perfect Yule pressie for someone. Start again time I think (if the second chance doesn't work).
On a more positive note, I think I'll be clearing about £200 from my Dec sales, so that will up the total towards my £1500 (see my signature) in Jan, when I move the money across.Debts (incl Mortgage) at LBM (24/09/08) £102849  Now £0. DFD 1st July 20190 -

I am in too, dissapointed with the sales yesterday, there was some nice stuff which i really thought would sell and didn't. Hope other people had more luck?
Also sold some of the ex's stuff on my sisters account did made £50 from that, will be hunting around to find more of his stuff to list, people seem to like it, and every little helps! It's even better selling things that do not belong to you and keeping all the proceeds, this will definately provide some motivation for future auctions, have sorted out another bag of his stuff, ready to be listed after christmas.
Think i'm going to aim to make £200 a month, which might be a little optimistic but i know i have been lazy this year and a little extra some months should take me close to £2500, i really think i need a target to aim towards as getting rid of stuff and making as much as possible is just not working!

Well today has been manic for me - 8 items sold and paid for on eBay, then a BIN offer came in and whilst sorting out a parcel collection, another three items sold on Amazon! Not large amounts but it all adds up.
Unfortunately it took me three attempts to post the items off - the first two times people were outside in the street waiting to be served. The third time I just waited with two children, one screaming his head off; think this helped clear the Post Office quite quickly :rotfl:
I just have the one item on there now although will relist the magazines.
Will be back on Boxing Day ready to start listing afresh.
P.S. mrscmr you are a great inspiration of what to do when the sh*t hits the fan,a s it were. Must catch up with you diary over the holiday.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -

You could always put at the bottom of your description that it may not arrive in time for Xmas if the auction finishes next week. Can you put on the listings the last dates for posting or something.
I'm sure people will realise that if they leave things til the last minute they might not get them. Hopefully it means that the next few days and the weekend will be busy.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
