mrscmr - I had to go to the Post Office twice today too, took 14 parcels with me the first time but only managed to get 9 done as I had to collect the kids from school, then I came back and wrapped another one and went back with 6.
It's great that you are doing so well mrscmr, you are not showing off at all, it's nice to know that you can make decent money out of Ebay, hopefully after January things will start to pick up. I'm not expecting to sell much in January although last year they had a free listing day after Xmas for people to sell their unwanted Xmas presents so while the kids are away next week and again after Christmas I will get lots of stuff on Turbolister ready for 'fingers crossed' a free listing day.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Well done mrscmr! that is really motivating...
except today I return from a two-day trip away to find my first negative - buyer claiming items are fake when I know that they are not (I seem to be attracting this type of person :rotfl:). Normally I would search out the paperwork to prove it but can't be ar*ed.
Talking of 'this type of person', footie woman claims she hasn't received shirt and is off abroad now. I guess she was happy with the shirt, but of course I am out of pocket as I had to refund
On a very positive note though, I got my exam result - 1st classMortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -

Thank you Jesarose,
I have put two more items on.
I'm hoping to do a car boot tomorrow if the snow doesnt settle, its not the best time of the year but I have lots of things from my THREE christmas boxes from last year and the year before (before I had to leave work through being ill ) I was a spender!!
Would you say if it snows and I can't go or go and nothing sells that it would be best to hold onto the items for a few months till the post christmas frenzy of ebaying unwanted gifts is over or to join in with it?
Also how many times can you relist an item and does it cost each time?
I'd ideally like to for 10% of any sales to go to my local Macmillan centre (my second home!) do you know how I can do this via ebay?
Thank you in advance for answering these questions..0 -
I wish there were car boot sales here at this time of year. I'm not sure there would be many people at one but I suppose it depends if you can take the cold and give it a go.
If you relist an item it costs you. If it sells on that first relist then you get that fee back. If you relist again it will cost you again but you wouldn't get the fee back if it sold that third time.
Underneath the price for your item is a charity box when listing an item - you can choose here if you want to donate part to charity. A great cause too

gina - i am gathering stuff up that hasn't sold on ebay for a car boot sale so i think you should hold onto it. I am thinking maybe feb or march before i have enough stuff & time to do a car boot!
i have 2 ppl buy items from me then not pay then they are no longer registered on ebay! some ppl are sooo annoying lol!
count me in for the 2010 challenge plz! have finally given up avon so will have more time to ebay!0 -
hi peoples not dropped in for a few days hope you are all keeping well, snow is really "dinging" down here but have to soldier on and get the christmas shopping finished, tally for ebay for december so far is £79.80 and only have 1 item left ending before christmas, had a gander back at notifications on ebay this time last year and year before looks like they do 5p or 10p listing days around boxing day time hopefully they will do the same this year and get us off to a flying start for 2010.
stay safe & stay warm have a really good christmas and best wishes to you and yours - will catch up when i get a minute
