eBay/ebid 10 a day challenge - any joiners?

Oh no, I feel very guilty now about stopping the listing. What I think I shall do is spend until Boxing Day putting things on Amazon and GreenMet and at least I shall feel that I have done something constructive.

A few years ago I sold right up to Christmas Eve; I had a note on there about last posting dates and not being able to guarantee delivery. I had several people collect from me which was fine as it avoided any of the missing post hassle. The problem was that I then had to amend all the listings to take the info about Xmas posting off!

Four items posted today and a further one sold on Amazon.

blimey i have run out of mailing bags again. yesterday made sales of just under 500 pounds. have done over 1,000 in dec already. more to go. must say that have been listing big things though to make that much. grand total since april is now 8500 pounds! house getting a little empty but there is still the loft and some areas not even touched.

Just a quick ebay question!! Someone has brought an high value item off me! they have requested a total, however its to be sent to Spain & they never contacted me before hand! Is it safe to post to Spain?? and whats the best way to send it I sold it for over a hundred pounds so I really don't want it to get lost !!!

Well done mrscmr, I sold £136 of stuff yesterday, was really pleased, am just off to the post office to post it all.

gingababe... i do worry when people do that, but touch wood I have always been ok. i send things airsure - signed for. dunno if thats the right thing for a high value item... maybe someone else can answer that? im guessing fedex is too expensive? unless buyer would pay?

had to do 2 post office runs today!

just wanted to say that when i post these figures etc... this is not to show off... this is to show how ebay really helps and has changed my life, in the same way as the support i get from this forum has helped and changed me.

i am trying to show how ebay can help generate some much needed cash no matter what end of the spectrum you are at. ebay does take up a great deal of my time, i am lucky as i work from home [hmm when i work] but fits around family too.

so thank you everyone for motivating me.. i wish i had started years ago! thanks floxxie for this thread and looking forward to the challenge for 2010!
