  • Thanks again Jesarose :-)

CC, my big idea of doing the carboot fell through!! I was up until 5am, insomnia and glowing ( brought on my having to have my ovaries out.) listening to the rain in the night was off putting but sleeping through my 6.15 alarm until 9 put paid to that idea anyway... am a bit gutted with myself but hey ho.. The weather here was icy but was and still is sunny, so it might have been a good day to do it... I instead fell back tp sleep until 1pm!!

Looks like I will be spending the time over Christmas uploading items to ebay... I'd been really good this time and put prices on everything, still its all in boxes, just got to find a space for them, as the living room and hallway might get annoying if I leave it for a few months!!! heheh
  • mrs cmr - i found it to be very time consuming for not a lot of money - i always ended up buying a lot of make up amongst other stuff!

gina - i have been up since around 8am but the snow is about 2-3inches thick and is till coming! i dont plan on leaving the house 2day - gona try some housework then maybe just putting things on turbo lister!

im not making any promises to myself cuz everytime i do something comes along and hinders them lol!

off to do a few postal comps so will prob pop later on!

Been buying some severely reduced xmas decs today, all ready for ebay or a car boot sale towards he end of next year ;):D I've decided that as its not worth listing anything at the moment, now is a great time to photograph stuff and get the photos on the laptop ready for when it is worth listing again :D

Is anyone else experiencing a high level of "where is my item, have you posted it yet" type emails from Amazon & Play.com sales?

Even items posted just 6 days ago are generating emails from people saying where is my CD etc. Don't people know its christmas? Obviously there are more items for Royal Mail staff to deliver. Therefore its not going to get there quicker than normal!

    Rant over :)

I haven't had anyone complain yet JesaRose but now I had wriitten that down, I'm going to get the queries aren't I? :rotfl:

mrscmr, let us know how you get on between now and New Year. I've got to get the house straight for Christmas i.e. move some boxes into the study and then I'm going to get them ready for listing but I'm not sure when to put them on.

Am also not sure how my neg is going to affect sales - any body have any post-neg experience?

Have sold two items on Amazon in the last two days - both at £15 so a few pounds in the bank.

Great to see that our little gang will be continuing next year; will set up a new thread to start 1st Jan, is that's ok for you all?
