  • I've sold quite a bit today, got 15 parcels to wrap and post tomorrow before 1pm when OH goes to work.

mrscmr - you are up late like me, how did Peppa Pig do in the end?

Sorted out the kids presents that were all over the place in our bedroom and found a few more things to Ebay, now have all the stuff for the 3 kids in boxes stacked in the corner next to the wardrobe, just got to wrap them up now and get OH to put them up in the loft out of the way.

    Off to bed now.

  • That is a shame mrscmr, I had a cardigan I sold that I thought would get £4 or £5 but sold for £1.86, I'd rather have put it up for BIN at £3.99 or something. I've decided I'm not starting 99p auctions for things I want more money from as it's very disappointing when you sell for a pittance and then have to post it off to someone. Why do I never find bargains when I'm lookiing for anything????

I've done all the kids Xmas shopping got my parents, brother and sil and Uncle to do now.

I listed about 10 DVDs on Amazon & Play today. I'm leaving Ebay until the end of Jan now but hopefully I'll find some time to list on Turbolister over the christmas holidays

Sorry cant help out but would be very dubious about sending and not being paid by paypal. think you would probably get a better response or more info posting over on the ebay board.

  • IBAN is international bank account number.

Im pretty sure that You have to give the other person your bank account number and also a bank id code and I think it then goes straight into the account.

Personally unless it was someone I knew very well and trusted I would steer clear

It is an international bank transfer and if I asked to do one I would jump at the opportunity (in fact have done so in the past). The buyer takes all the cost of sorting it out but it is paid directly into your bank.

By paying outside of Paypal, they cannot charge back and you get the money.

(speaking as a former banker, I would trust a bank transfer much more than I would Paypal ;) - Paypal is for the buyers protection, not the sellers.)

P.S. you need to give the international identifier number (you'll find it at the top of your statements and if you can't, speak to your branch)
