I needed to save up £1500 (excludes any sealed pot totals) by the end of next year for OU courses for me and the OH (and yes, he WILL be helping to make the pennies). I jokingly said to him that if we sold 1500 items for £1 (after fees) that should do it.

Welcome to our little gang and yep there are some truly amazing totals here (in terms of listing and money made; a great reflection on what we have been doing with our money in the past!)

I too pay for my OU courses but use Tesco clubcard deals to pay for mine - you can use them for part payment but only for undergraduate courses.

Anyway welcome and we look forward to hearing how the 'fund-raising' is going :o

    Afternoon ladies,

I managed to list very little in the end but at least I got some listed. Had a look and there are 7 items attracting watchers so fingers crossed they turn into bids.

Have also decided to list a Ben 10 set that I got DS2. He has decided that he doesn't like Ben 10 so rather than have a very disappointed child on Xmas day, I'm going to put it on tonight. I'm hoping that somebody else likes Ben 10!

Footie woman has been in contact saying that she didn't want a second hand shirt and thought the postage was excessive. I have sent her a reply telling her she has sent this to the wrong person. My inkling that she was bidding on the football shirts to remove them from eBay seems to be true. I just hope enough of us put in a NPB against her. Good news is that it is a genuine shirt and I have the emails to prove it - yippee! Just need to get rid of this woman and will then relist.

  • Hi Floxxie - hopefully footie woman will be out of your hair soon and hopefully banned from Ebay, obviously has nothing better to do with her life!

Good luck with the Ben 10 stuff, I'm sure there must be lots of boys into Ben 10, have you done a search to see if similar has sold and for how much?

  • Where is everyone? Hopefully selling lots of stuff on Ebay, have a few bids on things, am a bit surprised as I listed a girls jumper dress and listed it as fairly bobbled and it's up to just over £7.

  • 60 watchers, don't think I've ever had that many people watching one of my items. I hope you get lots of bids on it, I sold something yesterday that had 9 watchers and it only sold for £1.89 was a bit gutted, going to stop doing 99p auctions on things I expect to do well as sometimes they don't get the bids.

  • My listing stint left me feeling ill and now i have a stinking cold, i did get nearly 60 listings done and 20 relists though, i hoped to make it up to 100 but i crashed around 10pm and missed out on a whole 2 hours! Just one bid so far though.....more please

Hoping to do a couple of listings over the next hour or so though, discovered a bag full of the ex's (********) things hidden under a bed whilst looking for the christmas decs the other day, i'm sure i can find the motivation to list and make money from a few things that arn't even mine! Gonna go and have a dig around and see what there is!

I reckon ben 10 and pepper pig should both be good sellers!

Nice work on the jumper tmd

Sorry you have a cold, I felt really tired on Sunday evening, I felt a bit funny yesterday too, went to take DD1 to bed and the room started spinning and I had to sit down for a bit until it passed as I was staggering around when I stood up and tried to walk.

Hope you get lots of bids on your items, I did mainly 5, 7 and 10 day listings to spread them out so I don't have too many parcels to wrap in one go.

    Hope you feel better soon.
