My listings aren't doing very much either although I was reading that tomorrow is meant to be the day when people are buying gifts from eBay - will have to make sure that I have some listings ready to try it out!
Having a nightmare over a football shirt - the potential buyer is accusing me of selling a fake. The shirt was received as part of a bookies promotion and the company it was sent by are an established UK company but leaves me in a bit of a situation if she decides to declare it a fake. The listing hasn't finished yet but why did she bother bidding?
Anyway off to study, then DS1s b'day party this afternoon followed by an evening of listing and X-Factor...catch up later.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
typical probably wanting something for nothing! do you not have anything to show you won it? You sometimes wonder why you bother. Xfactor for me too and i think i'll have to get some listings together in the hope that can get some things shifted too, cant believe dont have watchers on boots and a coat at this time of year and kept the starting price low, think i'll just put anything and eeverything on and see what happensskintbint x

I have the emails about choosing a football shirt but she is also questionning the intergrity of the company!
Also one of my packages has not turned up but is in the system - sent it 1st class recorded. Unfortunately it is worth over £39 so don't think I can claim anything if it gets lost.
Other than that have sold two items, one on GreenMet and the other on Amazon. Only worth a few pounds but every penny helps.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
she wants to get a life!!!! this is when you wish you could tell bidders to go to Falkirk!
i would try and end listing http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/questions/endlist-now.html
If needed, you can end your listing before the scheduled end date. If there are bids on your item, you can cancel them. Listing fees are generally non-refundable.
You might end your listing early because:-

The item is no longer available for sale. (Please note that you shouldn't list an item on eBay if there's a chance you'll sell it elsewhere before the listing ends.)

There was an error in the starting price or reserve amount (and it's too late to change the reserve amount).

There was an error in the listing.
- The item was lost or broken.

Hi Floxxie
Can you cancel this persons bid/s and block her from bidding, you don't need people like that bidding on your stuff, maybe she is hoping that if she creates a fuss now that if she wins you will reduce the price or something.
I was annoyed with the cardigan I sold the woman said it was very worn and bobbled but when I got it back I couldn't see anywhere where it was bobbled, it smelt like it had been washed too so I reckon she let her baby wear it, didn't like it or something and washed it and sent it back for a refund. She left me positive feedback but said that she wasn't happy with the item and that I did refund but it annoys me.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

I would block her too and also remove her bid if she is the top bidder. If someone has outbid her, then leave her bid on as it will keep the others up
If you know its real then don't remove it. If she doesn't win it, is there anything she can do anyway? Ebay might look at the item if she reports it but that doesn't mean they will agree with her so don't worry too much
Oops I messed up the quote somewhere there - sorryNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
I can't seem to post a reply so apologies if a duplicate appears!
Thanks for the replies guys. I'm not sure what to do; there's only one other bidder with low feedback. I'm wondering whether to take photos of the inside of the shirt to have evidence of numbers etc. Hubby is adamant that it is a genuine shirt and is getting very p*ssed off with me :rotfl:
Any ideas as well what happens if recorded delivery gets stuck in the post? I guess I have to refund the buyer but how long do you wait? The item isn't lost, it's just not delivered...yet?
Am really beginning to go off eBay. Haven't got muh energy to list tonight but really need to....Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Even with recorded I think you have to wait at least two weeks before you can make a claim so people should be patient. I wouldn't expect a refund quickly but I guess some would. Recorded IS taking a couple of weeks in some cases at the moment too - I sent out some letters at work recorded first class and a few have only just arrived almost two weeks later. I assume there is still a backlog at the post office but I think it would be starting to clear by now (just guessing).
If you're going to worry about it a lot just take it off for now Floxxie. Have a think about it and maybe relist in a week or so. Its not worth getting yourself stressed about itNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550
