It is tough isn't tmd? Mine find things even when they are boxed up and then I got cross with myself for not dealing with them sooner. Trying to do a mix of Amazon and eBay this week but my main priority (after kunch at m-i-l) is to clear my bedroom ompletely of ebay stuff aad put it all into the living room:o

Benben had put this link up and I thought it was a lovely freebie for everyone...

I really would block the peculiar woman, if she is a problem now I think she will be a problem later and don't forget if she does claim it is a fake and can get someone to do a letter you will be forced to refund her and she doesn't even have to return the item.

AS for the other item, all standard mail (which is what recorded is) is not considered lost until 15 working days. However, buyers shouldn't have to wait that long for a refund so try and get her into the 2nd week at elast and then if she says it doesn't arrive refund her and start your own claim for loss later. The problem is of course that the online delivery info for recorded is so unreliable that it is no guarantee at all of item arriving. I am currently running at around a 60% failure rate of recorded ever showing up as delivered, even though all my work items get there in plenty of time.

    Hi Soolin,

I've blocked this woman but her bids aren't cancelled - if she tries to bid again will she get a message? I did look at cancelling her bids but her 'problem' doesn't fit their examples and I'm concerned this will cause more of a problem....

As for the RD 'missing in the system' scenario; I'm dealing with the head of a law firm (yep I get them all :rotfl:) so just trying to keep on side as I know he will be honest about its arrival but you have just reminded me of why I don't use RD (buyer requested it).

Other than that have four items that have sold which should make £60ish. One is quite a large item and I hope they collect asap; I an't wait to have the space back again!!

    She won :(

The good news is that another item that I thought might sell for £20 has sold for £85 - collect only.

I still cant see why she bid if she thought it was fake, probably trying to pull a fast one.

Well done on your other sale though thats great:D

I have realised today that I shouldnt list whilst feeling really tired. Two items that I listed the same day, for some reason when I filled in my email i did 184 instead of 183 on part of it, so I have had to aske the two buyers to cnacel their payments and then send it again to me, luckily the one that bought an item for £58 sorted it straight away, still waiting for the other one though, not a lot of money , but all helps.

made a mem to myself "make sure your brains in gear before you list";)

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

mrscmr when you have finished with your stuff come and have a holiday (cough) at mine so you can assist me in the art of eBay motivation ;)

Have put some stuff on Amazon and will do some more now that I am on a guilt trip.

jaynemaria, I have absolutely no idea why she would bid; it appears she is also bidding on several other footie shirts but I can't work out which ones...will do some more research tomorrow. She hasn't paid yet.

  • That is a shame she won, hope she doesn't cause any problems, can't work out why she bid if she thought it was fake.

mrscmr - your post office will love you tomorrow, does anyone use Paypal postage? I tried it once but the label didn't come as the pop up blocker was on and haven't risked it since, I thought I had turned it off but not sure. Would be so much easier to use the online postage (mind you our printer is not working at the moment).

DD3 is wide awake which is a pain as she slept earlier this evening, was hoping to get a few things on Turbolister for tomorrow but no such luck.
