Managed to sell 28 items from the mad dash listing last Sunday.
Can someone tell me please - if I relist any of the items from the free listing day then do I have to pay the listing fee this time ??
Thanks

I have a feeling I'm gonna have one very pee'd off ebay buyer.
They bought something from me as a surprise for a loved one. They paid for it, I posted it today.
They then sent me an email about 10 minutes ago, telling me to post it to a different address (not the one on their paypal account).
Arghhhhhhhhh. Why doesn't anything ever go right for me when it comes to ebay??0 -
Modest sales over the weekend, 6 eBay plus 2 Amazon. Loads of new listings, I'm trying chilrens books and toys. I agree it can be disheartening, but this thread is keeping me motivated -so thanks!LBM July 2009DMP Start 1 September 2009DMP Support Number 3350

Some of my items have just finished including almost £20 for some boots I've had in the cupboard for about 2 or 3 years! Only wore them a couple of times and they were from Faith sale so I probably didn't pay much more than that for them in the first place
Nearly all the items which sold this evening went for more than I expected
I also sold a pair of my mums boots for more than £15 too so if you have any boots to list, now seems to be a good timeNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
@ sleepless... mrscmr cant even bring herself to do the labels let alone the packaging.... having bit of a nervous breakdown. 55 items selling at moment...12 to post tomorrow............431 listed....
but have £705 this month so far with about another £200 out there in bids... sooo my motto is... GET LISTING!

Good luck; the 18 December isn't that far away
P.S. Have you got anywhere else to keep your money? I never keep anything in Paypal if I don't have to.
thanks floxxie, i can transfer to my bank but would spend it quicker!! first time i've had more than 20 or 30 in paypal, is there any specific reason i should transfer as really couldn't afford to loose it if something happened, £150 of it is my daughters christmas - bless her thats all she's asked for is money to buy things in the sales but i'll get her some parcels too- normally she gets just about everything she asks for but just cant do it this year (feeling guilty but i'm not going further into debt and i know i'll not be the only one feeling like this and theres many a lot worse off than us)
edit - was worried so have now transfered £150 - wil put in an envelope then a box then layer of sellotape, then another box until wrapped and sellotaped about 6 times so if i do want to spend by the time i've taken all that off i will have come to my senses!!!!!skintbint x

Sorry skintbint! There's two reasons why I don't leave more than I need to in Paypal:
1) if my account is hacked and funds removed and 2) if Paypal hold onto funds or debit account due to chargeback (or other) from a buyer. (I've only had the first one happen several years ago)
Think Paypal is a lot better than it used to be but I still don't trust it.

I have spent the last two evenings packing and an hour today working out postage refunds and sending 'dispatched' emails. I am not surprised you are having a bit of a nervous breakdown! Thankfully the pennies have made it worth it but need to get on with some more listing. Have managed to relist 21.
Just have a courier to sort out and 1 more payment to receive.
6 items to be posted tomorrow - hubby has been informed. Think that's only fair for him to deal with PO when I have done the listing
Please don't feel down if you are not making as much as you would like - that was the reason I kept on stopping as I felt the same. Just list anything and everything and remember that there might not be a buyer this week but there's certain to be one in the near future.
Will start preparing some more listings ready for tomorrow evening start...Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
_sleepless_ wrote: »Morning all,
I totally agree it doesn't matter how much your selling total was yesterday, you have made more than you had the day before, and you are a step closer to your money making goal, plus you have also got rid of a few things. Thirdly you also have listings from the things that didn't sell, and you only have to click the relist button to put them on again! Hang in there TMD progress is progress!
I made aprox £120 yesterday, had a last minute bidder who bought eight things so that helped boost my total. Only thing is the guy is in Germany and the value is going to be around £50 - because he has bought so many items i'd prefer to send tracked but have never tracked abroad before - HELP
Do i use International signed for? Is this realiable?
Floxxie - i love it on a wet rainy monday morning your OH is waiting at the po you have him well trained, i will stick it out after work!
mrscmr is probably still packaging - one day i aim to have more listed than you (it'll probably be a good few years - maybe when your out of treasures)
Vicky i mainly sell clothes but you'll be totally surpised at what sells, i held off putting something on thinking it wouldn't sell and it went for £9 - whoohoooo
Thankies
sleepless
sleepless what is it that you have sold? Can they be split into two packages for Airmail (value up to £39)? If lost, you then claim against RM.
Would a courier be an option - depending on the size of the objects?Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060
