It's coming up to 2am and I have just made another sale! Almost fell off my seat when he gave me the price he wanted to pay...this is an item I was going to throw out as it is broken.

Oh well, can't complain except for the extra packing that I have to do now :rotfl:

  • well done everyone. I have 41 items listed but they are all mainly clothes. I have 6 with bids on and my total is £8.70. What sort of things is everyone selling? I need some idea as to where i should start decluttering!!!!

  • That is fantastic Floxxie, well done you, sorry you were up so late, hope you are able to catch up on your sleep.

I went to bed about 12.30am and am so tired, I could sleep for 100 years like Sleeping Beauty.

Going to try my best to get a lot done today.

  • I only made 51.30 before fees - not brilliant is it!! Every bit helps I suppose but won't pay my debts off very quickly at this rate.

Thank you TMD. And no I haven't caught up on my sleep with DS2 getting up as we were going to bed and then the other two awake at 6.30am. Maybe one day when they are all grown up ;)

Going to take some piccies at lunch and do some listings when OH is out with DS1 at footie tonight. In the meantime OH has a long wait at the PO :rotfl:

It's money that you didn't have a couple of days ago and yes it is brilliant...most of my weeks consist of £0 from eBay ;)

  • Morning all,

I totally agree it doesn't matter how much your selling total was yesterday, you have made more than you had the day before, and you are a step closer to your money making goal, plus you have also got rid of a few things. Thirdly you also have listings from the things that didn't sell, and you only have to click the relist button to put them on again! Hang in there TMD progress is progress!

I made aprox £120 yesterday, had a last minute bidder who bought eight things so that helped boost my total. Only thing is the guy is in Germany and the value is going to be around £50 - because he has bought so many items i'd prefer to send tracked but have never tracked abroad before - HELP

Do i use International signed for? Is this realiable?

Floxxie - i love it on a wet rainy monday morning your OH is waiting at the po you have him well trained, i will stick it out after work!

mrscmr is probably still packaging - one day i aim to have more listed than you (it'll probably be a good few years - maybe when your out of treasures)

Vicky i mainly sell clothes but you'll be totally surpised at what sells, i held off putting something on thinking it wouldn't sell and it went for £9 - whoohoooo

    Thankies

    £365 in 366 days = 91/366 :)
  • I know it's more than I had yesterday but after fees I probably only made £20. I had about 75 items finish yesterday so not a lot based on the amount of stuff I listed.

I have no idea what everyone else is selling if they are making hundreds, just get a bit fed up of the time it's taking to list stuff and getting a bit disheartened.

Hopefully it will pick up in a week or two, some things that I sold only went for the start price, I'd love people to have a bidding war on one of my items - not that would be exciting.

sleepless for germany I usually send items by airsure as its trackable to the destination, int signed for is only trackable within the uk (if memory serves me right). I've had no bother with either service tho

Ditto what Purpleroses says - I always use Airsure too as International Signed for would usually disappear outside of the UK if it were to disappear at all. And then you can't find it, all you would know is that it left the UK. Its not much different in price either

I've had one Int Signed For parcel go missing with work ebay and it was a bit of a nightmare really
