What do you guys actually find to list, i have no junk to list unfortunatly. I keep looking to fing things but i find i just end up finding nothing
I went through a phase of listing old magazines for a decent enough return. I've never sold clothes on eBay, but anything designer should have a good chance of selling.
Some of the tat (OK, not always tat) people buy at charity shops, car boot and jumble sales for peanuts can be worth a small fortune on eBay (even things like keyrings and badges). So may be worth having a rummage at these places. It's a case of either knowing what to look for or just pure luck.
Good luck :cool:2018 wins: Hong Kong holiday0 -

You could make some listings in Turbo Lister fairy, that way as soon as you come back you can click on the upload button and they are ready to go. I find that if I don't do it when I am in the mood it will never get sone
Have a lovely time in Italy
At the moment I do all my listings manually. I tried using Turbolister once and for some reason I couldn't get it to workIs it worth me trying again? Does it really save much time?

Glad it's busy mrscmr  Lets hope all those watchers take action!
I've listed another 26 items bringing my active selling total to 67. A few have bids (enough to cover a couple of pints:p) and there are a load of watchers.
I think I'm starting to get a buzz out of this challenge:D2018 wins: Hong Kong holiday0 -

I couldn't get my head around Turbolister either. Maybe its because I only list a few items a week (max has been 20) that I don't find it any quicker
I've got a eBay template created in msword which I use for every listing and just add the description of the item, then I copy and paste into eBay.
Is Turbolister really that much quicker? I'm more than happy to be converted!
Also is it just me or does anyone else find eBay instructions difficult to follow? Whenever I try to follow their instructions on how to do something I find the page they refer to has changed slightly ie tabs or wording are differentLight Bulb Moment 4th January 2009 :eek:Started DMP 1st April 2009 :ADMP mutual support thread member: 267 :j0 -

If you want proof of posting then yes you need to go to the PO and get your certificates or such like stamped by the PO. They may also want to check your weights and dimensions, my PO does but others don't bother.
If you are happy to stand any loss yourself if an item gets lost then you don't need to bother with the PO and can bung them straight into the box.
For recorded or special they must go to the PO so they cna be entered into the system and a tracking number confirmed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm a newbie (been a lurker for a while) and after reading all the posts, decided to have a clear out of all my "junk". Managed to list 6 items last night, wanted to do 10 but was having problems with my internet connection, will post another 6 tonight. This can be addictive!0

I’m glad it isn’t just me that has had difficulties with it! It was ages ago that I tried it and I couldn’t actually seem to get the auctions to start for some reason. I spent ages trying to work it out which was time I could’ve spent just doing auctions the normal way. I could be swayed into trying it again if I knew it was going to work this time.
I am the same I have a template which I use for all auctions that has my terms on it and then I just add a separate paragraph describing each item to it. It can be quite time consuming but I find it makes my auctions more personalised doing it that way.
I might take a look at Turbolister again and see if it has improved since I last tried to use it – anything which makes it easier for me to get more stuff listed is good by meOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170
