It is worth keeping an eye on the expanded seller dashboard to see if high postage puts people off. You can find the expaned bit by clicking on the tab 'account' then onto seller dashboard: Scroll down to buyer satisfaction (that should be 'good, if not worry!). Then click on See how eBay calculates your rating. and it will show if anyone has left you any 1 or 2*.

I charge actual postage plus between 5-25p and I don't use recorded and I still have one low star for post and packing.

Just stumbled across this thread *subscribes*

I've just started sorting my debts out and am hoping to make a few extra pennies by clearing the clutter via Ebay. It's my first month this month and I've gone over my target already :j

Beginners luck maybe so I'm not getting complacent and hoping to keep motivated via this thread! I've currently lost my 'bible' listing all my things to sell, sizes etc so looks like I have a Saturday of counting again...

I need to keep motivated with taking the pics, that's the job I put off the most! But my aim is 5 items a day and I'm going to try and stick to it (although I haven't so far...) :o

On the post charges issue, I always charge as near as possible to the cost estimated on Royal Mail website as I know that in the past as a buyer I've avoided bidding on things that I feel I'm being ripped off by on the postage!

Hang in there rictus, it will happen :)

    Happy Ebaying everyone :D

My DSR on P&P is 4.8 and I have never had any complaints so far. I try to use recycled packaging where I can but if I cannot find something to reuse I will add that £1 on to cover purchasing packaging materials etc

I always offer 2nd, 2nd recorded and if its more than £39 I use Special D
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
