At the moment I do all my listings manually. I tried using Turbolister once and for some reason I couldn't get it to work :( Is it worth me trying again? Does it really save much time?

I find it quicker as I can do it without having the net on and do the listings at any time day or night without having to hurry doing them all on a thursday evening when I want the auctions to end in 10 days on a sunday evening

All my terms etc are saved plus my template and because I learnt how to do HTML with free pics thats why it works so well for me I think. But I really do rate it, its been great for home and my work account too.

There is a tutorial on the Ebay help pages which is great to help you get started so it might be worth checking out

I've not done any more listings as I have been really sick the last couple of days :( will add some relists tonight maybe

    hi all

bought a new pc on monday night - spur of the moment thing when i lost my temper with my very old computer taking way too long!!! i would have needed it sooner or later!

i have bought myself a dress for a big party at the golf club in 4 weeks time - slight problem being they only had a 10 (im a 12!) and it was in the sale so i bought it anyway and am trying to lose a few pounds to fit into it!

back on weightwatchers again - well i am not goin to meetings, just counting my points, and buying the mags for tips & inspiration lol!!! i will let you know if i manage to fit into it lol!!

on the ebay front i have made £103 over the last 16 days so very good for me. have taken pics but left my camera lead at home so i am putting them on with very brief descriptions & no pics, then when i get home i can finish them!

thank goodness its so quiet in work seeing as it is allowing me to get on with my very important ebayin ha ha!!!

loads of items with watchers and 22 will sell. have done my smallish post office run for today, items being collected and paid for at the weekend - good news. i must update my totals cos they have changed. seems at some points in the month ebay does quite well and others it seems quiet.

have more listing to get on but being careful with end of auction dates as off on hols in 2 weeks!

have a good afternoon all x

Last weeks grand total was definitely beginners luck...no biters on my 13 items listed so far. 11 watchers on one though so fingers crossed!

Another 34 items now with pics and ready to go on. Is it generally true that it is better to try and get the auction to end on a Sunday evening? Have others found this a good tactic?

I have found that works best for me rainy. The staff at ebay told me that Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings are the busiest times on Ebay, avoiding the soap operas :)

I always do 10 days unless it something I need to sell quickly like concert tickets when I cannot go

I have 17 items on and so far they all have a few watchers but no bids or anything! Im getting demotivated already! However all my items are clothes/footwear but tonight im going to rake through the house and i WILL find things to get on! Hopefully get another 20 things on tonight. Any ideas what though?
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
  • I'm putting on old shoes, now I know they say a girl can never have to many shoes, but I think in my case, that statement is wrong. I've gone through my wardrobe and anything that i've not worn in 6 months to a year has gone or is going on ebay.

I wondered why I was in so much debt until I saw my shoe collection, so now they can help me get back out it! :)
