She is now a blocked bidder. I do have some similar items - given that than neutral sticks out like a sore thumb, should I list them together - about 10 mint, BNib character dolls and accessories, or individually.
They are not barbies, but are collectable.

I will get over it...I will get over it...I will get over it....

    Must list later today....

Yep you will. One bad feedback or neutral in a lot of good doesn't put people off. A lot of people on ebay, especially if they're new users, don't even look at the detailed feedback anyway - they see the number next to the stars and that's good enough for them. Don't let it get you down. Just remember one thing, that woman wakes up every morning miserable and goes to bed every night miserable and probably everyone she comes into contact with during the day are made miserable by her presense. Unfortunately there are people like that in the world who are never happy with anything.

My first negative came years ago, from someone who I posted a photograph too - all properly packed in a plastic folder and then inside a hardbacked envelope. At some point in the post, something sharp had gone straight through the envelope, plastic and photo and out the other side. Obviously a postal thing right? Apparently not. I got negative for sending her a photo that I'd described as 'brand new' but that actually had a hole in it. It obviously didn't occur to her that it would have been quite an achievement for me to find a photo, plastic folder and envelope with perfectly aligned holes and then post them to her. She couldn't retract it either - long before the days that was possible.
I was angry at first but then just had to get on with it and realise that some people are just mad. Daily.
Don't let it get you down and get listing!

Longhotbath, if you want to share her user id, I've got several old Ebay accounts and I'm sure she'd have lots of lovely things for sale that I might like to bid on ;)

    Advice needed...

Going on hols in 2 weeks. Should I close my shop altogether (my instinct says do this) or use the vacation settings to let people buy things in the meantime but be warned that they won't receive it for a while? Don't want to risk any bad feedback, but surely if it clearly says 'this person is away until...' they wouldn't be that stupid?

Maintenance is Friday morning so the evenings are fine, it isn't a fast day for sales though.

Normally I would agree with you but sold more BIN items yesterday than the rest of the week put together. :j

Just popping in to pat myself on the back. I went through a whole load of my magazines I've had waiting to go on ebay for about 4 years and have just managed to list 15 of them :) Ok so it's not hundreds, but it's 15 more than I had up a couple of hours ago. Best thing was, I found all the old photos and listing templates I used to use so didn't even have to take photos to get them up there :)
Now if only everything were this easy.

Hello PP, have you still got your lady helping with your listings? If so, you could leave the stuff with her to send if it sells otherwise I would personally close up shop for your hols as I have learnt this week that people do not read what is right before their eyes and you will be setting yourself up for negs.

    Have a good break.

To those listing magazines...I definitely recommend it, no matter what they are and don't be put off if they don't sell the fisrt time around. I have sold all sorts from Marie Claire to Metal Hammer and eventually they go. I did have some Weight Watchers and Rosemary Conley ones and 30 of them sold to two people. Made me a happy bunny as they only went for 99p each but cleared a corner in my living room ;)
