I use Hotmail spaces to host my photos and have written some basic HTML to add those photos into my ebay listings for free. I am happy to share the information and try and teach anyone how to do it themselves if they want. All you need is a hotmail email account, you don't have to use it but they give you free space for hosting photos and they stay on there until you remove them and are completely free. You can use as many or a few as you want in your listings

You really are a very talented person! I would love to be able to do this but am a little worried as I can't even put links on my postings here!

Haven't used hotmail might look into that. I'm going to try to get back into using photobucket for listings for the time being. Going to try and list 5 items over the weekend.

:o ah you made me blush :D

I'll try and work on a simple guide over the next few days and see how it goes. I am too MSE to pay for photos so had to find a way.

For now I am off to London to watch the Manic Street Preachers. Tickets bought on Ebay

    Have a lovely weekend everyone

Hi - do you guys think that buyers get bored with 10 day listings - I put 17 items on at 10 days, and Im realllllllllllly bored with looking at those watchers:rotfl:.
About half have the starting bid of 99p - BNIP items and really hard to find like that.

Were spending this georgious day cleaning and sorting out the utility room (again!!), the wendy house and the boys room. It'l be wine tonight:rotfl:

Lol, you all make me laugh...I think we go through the same ups and downs. I get so bored by my listings that I actually forget them and then wonder why I have a 'received money into Paypal' email!

Haven't done anything eBay related today. Did clear up all my paperwork though..that's how much I didn't want to sort out any listings but I shall make a start in a bit while watching a talent show...

    Catch up later.

:( - just checked on amazon - a big seller has undercut about half of my listings by 1p.....

Still lots of watchers on ebay, but everything is at 99p still. Nearly everything is going abroad - NZ, Oz, Finland! and Italy.

Ill start the listings tomorrow higher. Inc a pair of shoes my daughter deperately wanted and then never put her foot in:confused:

Thanks guys for keeping me going!

  • Hello there, I think I will join you all for a few weeks if you will have me.

I've listed a couple of items each Sunday just to give myself a bit of extra cash (not that I have withdrawn any from paypal yet mind). I don't have a specific target in mind but having just got through a redundancy (DH not me) and DH getting another job fantastically quickly I'm terrified that it will happen again. So far I have sold a pair of jeans / some Temple Spa skincare stuff and a Wii game. Today I have listed another Temple Spa item, and a couple of exercise DVDs

I'm only listing a couple of items per week as I loathe going to the Post Office, and I'd also like to be able to absorb the postage from my every day money leaving the e-bay money in the paypal account until it's needed.
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
