Everyone is doing really well, keep it up.

I have just logged onto Ebay to check what has been paid for and noticed one buyer has paid for items but they are no longer registered on Ebay. What do you guys suggest I do? I can't leave feedback nor can feedback be left for me. Should I send the items or refund the money?

I'd contact them through the email that they used to pay with paypal and if you do end up posting it to them be sure it's sent recorded delivery so you have proof it was delivered. very odd paying then leaving ebay.

If you get no response just refund the money
  • Hi, at the moment I'm selling as much as possible to raise money for OH's career course.... sold 19 items last night... got 13 to post today eeek!! Still have 19 items listed and am writing up some more now to upload Thursday... it's driving me insane it's like I've taken on a second job but it'll be worth it in the end!! Anyways, was wondering if I could join the challenge for a while as I still have mountains of clutter to list? :)

    Hi Guys,

I have been trying to sell my daughters clothes on ebay for the last 2 months. Her clothes are like, new! and yet, I must admit things have been really slow. Whenever I check my listings, I cant find where ebay have put them:mad: I dont just put them in age specific catergories, I try to put titles to the items that will hopefully make it easier for peeps to find them, but no luck. so I have given up for a while. Does anyone find ebid any better? I know ebays fees can be pretty bad. So I was wondering if anyone out there just uses ebid and if so, what sort of luck are you having!!?

Any ideas/suggestions gratefully received! I am sick of my spare room being taken up with clothes and toys that need selling! lol. thanks

Welcome newbies - you are free to join our challenge at whatever pace suits you and your life. Hope things get better for those having a hard time and good luck to those who have a target to reach!

I wrapped my parcels and trotted down to the PO this morning to find that they were shut for an audit! Went shopping and they were still closed so have just sent OH down there. I was hoping that they would be on their way to my buyers by now...

Have an echeque that I am waiting to clear, a buyer who wants his item next month and another who can't get funds to me until the last week of May. Unfortunately between them that's £100. Really need that as 'my doing up house fund' is not particularly full of money yet

Anyway will get some listings done tonight but won't list until Thursday. Am starting to feel overwhelmed by the amount of items I have, again. Am taking one day at a time but it is going very slowly!

Echeques suck! What is the point of them anyway? Half the time, the buyer doesn't even know they've sent one. I accidentally sent one once, and I didn't do anything different to making a normal payment.

Jasperconran, it's really hit & miss with kids clothes on Ebay. I'd say you're doing the right thing putting the most prominent words in the description, but make sure you fill in the item specifics as well. If you want to PM me an item number for any of the completed listings I'm happy to have a look and see if there's anything that's been overlooked. As for ebid, it's a shame, but I think it's a waste of time (in my experience). One of the things I sell on Ebay is a range of cutlery, and I shift loads of it. I've had the same thing on Ebid for several months now and not had a single enquiry about it. Much as I hate Ebay, it's probably better just to keep plodding along there if you can.

I have just sold another little item, for £2. Better than nowt!

I didn't bother going to the PO today as our town is apparentely hectic due to a new supermarket opening today, so I stopped in for the sake of my sanity! I will have to go tomorrow though. I'm off to wrap up yesterday's sold items.

hi i have just had a mini panic attack!!!

i just thought i would check my credit card balance online there - i thought the available credit was my balance - but oh no at first glance i got it so wrong! it may not be much to some of you but it is nearly £1500!!! i knew i had spent a bit recently but thats waaaaayyyyy more than I was expectin!!!

worst thing is i don't even have anything to show for it!! so annoyed at myself because im the one in our house who is 'sensible' with money - apparently not!!!

ok sorry cant cry over split milk etc so i have started loading a few items on my turbo lister bit dull/dark to be taking pics now so will get the text on, and take the pics in the morning and get them uploaded 2moro after work!

maybe it will be the kick up the *** that i have desperately needed!!!!:rotfl:

**ah man i have just realised that after my rant and stint on the TL i completley forgot about 24! gutted!!! fingers crossed sky plus was on lol on a good note I have 12 items waiting for pics and for once they are not all 99p items!!!**
