Just a quick question... how many times do you all on average relist an item before giving up and thinking 'I'll just take it to the tip!'.... Does there come a time when financially its not worth relisting? I don't quite 'get' the relisting fee structure. I think I'm just being a bit thick....

    :hello:
Anyone have any advice please? Thanks in advance

I just keep relisting, but I think when I have achieved my goal anything that is on it's 100th time around lol might just go in the charity bag. I am finding things are selling after a few weeks of relisting anyway for some reason. People's needs and wants change I guess.

yeah I keep relisting too and after a few good times i give up and send it to the charity shop. Quite a few things i've sold this week are items that have been relisted several times before so it's worth relisting a few times

It's likely to be seen by more people over the bank holiday weekend so i'd list before.

I guess my reason for asking about how many times to relist is just due to whether it's actually cost effective. I thought you only got one free relist if it didn't sell or have I got that wrong?

I'm just thinking that if you have to keep relisting a low price item before it actually sells then it could have cost more money to sell it than it sells for .... Maybe I've just got this all completely wrong.... I really hope so because I'll then be entering into a relist frenzy!! :j

i think the first relist is free and you pay for the rest so i guess it isn't really cost effective to keep relisting items. certainly low cost ones anyway. Its really just up to you how many times you relist an item. i have a limit of about 5 with low cost ones as after that i just get fed up and want rid of it

St0lli i relist higher value things probably 4 times - 2 of which will be the free relist (listing fee back if it sells) - on the second go hit relist to get it free then on the third time hit the sell similar and it'll be a new listing fourth time hit relist and so on. I might do more if it has a watchers in case they didn't get a chance to bid. After that i'll probably leave it on turbolister and try again in a month or two or else if i just want rid i'll start it at 99p

Remeber it's free to list 99p or under so many of these items i just keep relisting until i'm fed up with storing it, sometimes they will go up £3/4 even if they previously havn't sold at 99p - it's so werid! If you have the space may as well keep banging these items on until you get rid of them!
