hi gingababe
its funny with ebay cos seems everyone has up and downs. i find if i do a house search day and then list it gives me a really boost mentally, i do get down days too though but then think to myself ... "think of the money hidden around this house... you need money ... so get listing" then i get on with it again and feel great when i have done it. one down side though.. .my dining room looks like a jumble sale.. should deal with that.
well done on the shoes!

Where do you all store your ebay items that you have listed? I find that I have boxes under the bed, top of wardrobes etc and the house looks just as cluttered as it would if the items that were in the boxes were in the homes in the house if that makes any sense at all.
Each time I parcel up a few items, the piles still look just as big and I haven't added to them in a while.
I know it's all helping to the cause but I wish I had an Ebay room lol0 -
I don't understand buying habits at all, I really don't.
I have quite a lot of items on my personal account all bits and bobs I had lying around and all of it up with a 99p start. Most of it just stays unsold and gets relisted until I get bored and take it to the charity shop.
However, today I have three items finishing very shortly, all completely different categories, all listed several times before without even any watchers. One of those items has 5 bids and is at £4.20, another has 9 bids at £9.50 and the other 8 bids at £8.50. This should be my slowest night, I never ever manage to sell anything on a Friday and especially not this early in the day.

Jesarose, are you wanting dealers in your area? I've been a bit cheeky in the past and got in contact with the big eBay sellers and asked them questions including whether they would be interested in purchasing my items direct. Probably not the done thing but I did. Will let you know how I get on - still haven't located remainder of coin collection.
It would be good to get someone near me maybe I should start looking - just don't get the time at work as I deal with soooooo many other things as well as an Ebay shop & Amazon. I'll get round to it one day and until then they can sit in my desk drawerNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

Boo hoo, I have had a horrible evening sorting out a stupid buyer. I've been having a listing like Soolin - putting things on that haven't sold and still haven't sold on relisting and then finally sell and I have to look twice at the price!
Most of my sales this week have been to foreign bidders (which probably explains the inflated prices) who have requested their total. However one person just put the UK postage price in their payment despite being in Canada. So I refunded and sent the price for Canadian postage. Tonight I got a really rude response about how I didn't state that international postage cost more than UK postage and I am very unprofessional! I had to go and search and point out that it is under postage and 'all available'. Anyway have offered it to the next bidder but the hassle of it has taken all evening and now I am waiting for a neg.
I feel exhausted. Seem to have been answering questions, working out postage, packing and sending solid for at least two days and still it goes on and I haven't touched any housework so the place looks really bad. I always find that when I am eBaying the house is a tip from items and lack of tidying but it will put itself right next week when things are listed and posted (fingers crossed)
Out all weekend but determined to get some more listings sorted ( as well as research and write an essay and complete some family research for another three people!! :rotfl:) Think a bottle of wine over might help me manage the workload!
Ooops sorry for the essay...I just had to get my frustration out.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -

Ahh Floxxie, I totally know what you mean about your house being a tip. My room is so cluttered with packing material, half wrapped parcels, bags of my ebay junk, etc etc... I just can't wait until it's all gone. I think I might even make the effort to go to the post office in the morning as I feel like I'm suffocating with the parcels piling up.0
