Hey thanks for the words of encouragement i still havent listed anything new on ebay just keep relisting stuff... i have sold a few items over the past few days got more for some items than i expected and a lot less for others....

Its not been a good week. I still have the binbags cluttering up the livingroom and the piles of stuff just keep growing :o I really dont know what to do now... i know i really need to sell the stuff to get some money back to pay my bills... i started off so positive this month but cant seem to get back on track.

Glad to hear everyone is still listing and making sales. I've got to try and find 3 birthday presents for the morning so will need to go look through my stuff and see what i can find... i used to have a cupboard with stuff that i'd bought in the sales for presents but it's all been mixed up with everything else now :o

Thanks for the support guys, did manage to get away for a couple of days but back in the thick of it now! I'm still quite down at the moment but i am going to get listing at the weekend, i need to clear out some sell some stuff if i want to move out of this place and away from him, definately going to sneak a few of his things on too make myself feel better! I am going to make loads of money on ebay and then he will be sorry he ever dumped me! I might even wonder into the loft and borrow a few comics to sell isn't it a total PITA when you lose a few odd ones out of a massive run ;)

mrscmr you are doing fantastic, seems like your the most motivated person here, definately a contender for ebayer of the month award!
I hope you are making loads of cash and just to let you know i plan to be giving you a run for your money by the end of the weekend!

floxxie keep at it and don't be dreading the loft you might find some hidden treasures to list!

buddiebabe try not to give up, maybe you should just aim for one or two new items a day until you are feeling more motivated and maybe a few extras at the weekend, hopefully the new items will draw people in and then a few of your relists may catch their eye too, try to stay positive

Everyone remember this weekend and next weekend we must aim high, these are key listing weekends as the they will be ending just a little before and just after the end of the month payday and thats far more likely to make us lots more ££££ - if that won't kick you into action then nothing will!!!

Hey sleepless glad to see you back... try and keep positive and keep your chin up. I remember when i split up with my ex i ebayed everything in sight that reminded me of him... and anything that was his (all of the stuff i'd given him and presents that hadn't even been opened stuff i'd paid good money for) it hurt to begin with but once the money started to come in i started to feel a bit better.... im still coming across things i bought for him or bought because of him and getting rid of them does help

i am loving the idea of selling some of the comics.... :p

Im going away on Monday for a few nights so am looking forward to the break away from ebay and all the debt and the mess of the house.... just hope that when i get back i'll have managed to locate some motivation and get ebaying again!!!

    Evening girlies,

One day I am going to learn how to cut and paste different messages so I can respond to them in my message!

Sleepless thank you for the words of encouragement. I really need them now. You will get through this horrible patch in your life and I completely agree in selling his stuff as a form of therapy :T

LHB, no my P&T is next to my bed. My M&Ps is in the hall. I'm using a Maclaren and think now little one is 13 months he can stay in it (naughty mother I know). Need to clean M&P. So many things to do and so little time but you are all keeping me on the right track.

Enjoy your time away BB, hope it is an exciting break.

Jesarose, are you wanting dealers in your area? I've been a bit cheeky in the past and got in contact with the big eBay sellers and asked them questions including whether they would be interested in purchasing my items direct. Probably not the done thing but I did. Will let you know how I get on - still haven't located remainder of coin collection.

Catch up over the weekend. I have another 8 items to wrap and post so a few more pennies coming in, some more space cleared but still so much more to go!

I wish I had thought about this before I listed my items last Sunday. I've listed quite a few BNWT Monsoon dresses/tops and some things which have only been once but only have a couple of things with bids! I kept the starting price low on the things I wore once (,99p) and only 3.99 for the BNWT!!! Not sure what else I can do to entice people in  Of couse there are as always the obligatory 2million watchers for each item..

Sorry I should say HI! to everyone:hello: I've been a longtime lurker on this thread and it got me motivated earlier in the year to start clearing out items in an attempt to supplement my income now I'm on a DMP. So thanks to you all for helping me keep my head above water.

I'm just feeling a bit down at the mo as my items which are all good quality things with good pics and descriptions still don't appear to be attracting many bids..... Maybe everyone is hoping to grab a bargain and the bids will come rolling in on Sunday evening when the auction ends.... Here's hoping anyway :j

@ longhotbath - gee thanks for ur kind words. i am motivated but also ashamed at how much money i have spent over the years so im trying to even the balance.
@sti0lli yes i know what u mean - i sold a pair of shoes for 99p and they cost me 120 pounds and were never worn. its up and down. i start most things at 99p tbh i dont know if thats right or not as im still new to ebay.
@sleepless - complete agree with listing everything you can get ur hands on - that will make u feel better. and thanks for your note about it is a big weekend. im listing as i type ?!

OMG - you must have been a bit down about that. On the other hand I try to justify those things against the ones which I think will never go and then reach some really high (relatively) figure.... Don't think I'm going to make my fortune but it helps me buy things I wouldn't normally be able to afford.:T

I would have been tempted to put the shoes on BIN for 30 days and offer free postage. So put them on for maybe £30/£40/£50 BIN rather than let them go for 99p. I've just sold a CD that didnt sell previously, put it on BIN and its sold after 11 days. Got £20 for it, others have sold for more but no buyers around at the moment it seems.

I'm no expert but have read a lot on the Ebay forum on here. Dont undersell all your more valuable stuff.
