:eek::eek: I'm running around like a headless chicken wondering how I am going to get everything listed/sold in the next couple of months. So much panicking and no doing

Have to buy a new camera for definite. So that will eat into my profit but needs must.

Right off to get started on a long listing night.

Haven't tried ebid but if there is anybody who uses it as a buyer/seller, then please let us know your thoughts!

Have been ebaying all afternoon - 12 listings and counting ready to upload
Why can't I want to do this every day? I've got the radio on loud, patio doors open wide and its a lovely day - I am almost outside and the sun is shining on me

Congrats ginga - thats a relief

    Hey

After reading the posts earlier and having had to tidy cause a friend was coming round i am really undecided whether or not to keep ebaying... my house is a mess there are boxes and bags of stuff everywhere and i only have a small one bedroom flat. I was so fed up today i bagged up 8 bin bags full of clothes and wanted to take them to the tip.... couldnt see the point in ironing them or even being bothered to ebay them.

They are now lying in the middle of the living room carpet for me to make a decision about.... my boyfriend won't let me fling them out... he says i'll regret it but part of me would like to fling everything out and start all over again :o

Just feeling really down about the state of the house

    Sorry for the depressing post.

I completed a survey for ebay the other night about the proposed changes and it mentioned about the seller ratings thing saying that would be used to determine if u were a good enough seller to be certified... i could have got it wrong but remember it being mentioned.

Ebay isn't what it used to be where normal people could list their unwanted items and get some much needed cash for them. Hopefully another website like ebid will take off and let us sellers have a better marketplace for our goods!!!

Only plus side at the moment is i have 7 items selling for a grand total of £13.66 136 items finish today and so far none of those are selling but as they are all relisted items im not too bothered... would be nice if one of them sold

Keep going buddiebabe, i have been where you are, where you just want to throw it all out, or give to charity shop.

I did throw a couple of items out and i actually gave some to the charity shop, just to make myself feel better:o weird, but i felt like i had achieved something:confused::p

I have one by one been selling my relisted tat:D, Sold 9 items tonight, well sunday night, 8 of them had been listed about 5 million times!

I relisted everything, only 31 active listing, but already have 2 bids,
small steps buddiebabe, GO ON YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Ebid have actually been going for over 8 years but have made virtually no inroads into ebay at all. I think they have missed some great opportunities where ebay have changed policies to grab the disgruntled sellers, but they will not change their stance on advertising. I have had an account for 5 years, and have not made a single sale although I've bought things cheaply and resold them on ebay. I also think they have a slight image problem in that many of the posts you see about them are usually along the lines of 'I've been banned on ebay so have moved across to ebid' and I think that is something they should not be encouraging as I think it is bad advertising to have it suggested that 's where only the dodgy sellers go.

There were other competitors that were huge like Yahoo auctions, Freeserve auctions etc, but they all gave up and moved out of the UK market.

Hi Buddiebabe, hope youre feeling better after having slept.
Keep going - the pile will go down. why not go through the bags, ebay the better items and friday ad/charity shop/freecycle the rest. You will get your flat into shape that bit sooner, and feel better about it. Use the money you get for ebaying for a treat - chart your progress if you want. (Im following what I do for my children - I now have a star chart and am looking forward to my first treat!!)

Since starting the ebay challenge, I have found that I dont buy so much stuff in the first place! - its alot of hastle to get rid of the clutter afterwards!!

    morning all
well i didn t get to my target of 100 listed items but i am up to 82, some sold over weekend and i have some others with bids on.
what do we do about this certified seller thing? i only have 103 feedback as im new to ebay so i wont get a look in? i was really hoping that ebay would generate some very much needed cash but now feeling rather depressed and thinking why should i bother.

anyone out there know what to do?
thanks and have a nice day - its bit windy today but sunny!
