the one that makes this whole thing a lot easier is that we all have our ups and downs! and someone else has nearly always made the same mistake or had the same issue!
i have a total of 32 listed and thats me for this evening - goin to auctiva now to add extra images to some of my listings for free!! talk about a long way round for a shortcut lol!!
well done mrscmr - i am glad we both got a few items listed 2night!
i will take pics of more items 2moro before work and will hopefully find time over the weekend to list some more!
good night everyone xx :beer:0 -
afternoon all
well ebay is a real up and down thing isnt it?
im learning this gradually.
seems that you have the ups when you sell or get bids, then the down when you have to refund or something doesnt show up.
2 99p items seem to have gone astray so i will maybe have to refund on monday which is bummer.
today i have listed 17 items - some techy things like routers and modems and 2 quite expensive items hoping they will sell well.
so that means i have listed 50 items this week which is impressive. i have 69 listed in total and want to get to my target of 100 items listed.
hows everyone else?

Hi All,
Not had much luck with e bay - do you tend to list at 99p and do you pack for bold and border thing? We listed lots a while ago but not certain how much we made after postage and fees! Two items sold at reasonable prices but others at 99p - and misquoted postage methinks. Any advice?
Thanks0 -
I only ever list at the very bottom price I am prepared to take maggiem - its usually more than 99p but on some items which I just want rid of then I would start at 99p. Most of my items are wardrobe clear-out items so are worth £4.99 at least so I tend to start at that for most things.
Not sure what "bold and border thing" means???
Check what your item weights when packaged up against the postal weights on the Royal Mail site to make sure you do not underquote on the postage. I usually add 80p/£1 for packing materials too on top of the actual postage priceNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Just read through the last few pages of this thread and feel really motivated to get stuck in with some tat that's lying around, but I've got other stuff that needs to be done tonight, plus my camera isn't connecting to the PC since I did a restore a few weeks ago...typical!
On the plus side, I got a £15 Amazon gift voucher from Ebay today as payment for a focus group I took part in last week. There are plans afoot to do away with PowerSeller and make 'Ebay Certified' sellers - it'll be fine for me with a fairly busy Ebay shop, but not good for small-timers, so get rid of your stuff now before they bring it in (if they do - it got some BAD feedback in the focus group), otherwise you'll be up against people who get higher search rankings, cheaper fees, and a large badge saying 'certified' or some other guff on the search pages which you can only get if you sell enough stuff.0
