    Would a C4 news presenter's head fit in a slow cooker? :D

.............. I'm darn sure I could MAKE it fit! :rotfl:

I have benefitted so much from this site and from the lovely support network it provides and would hate to think it didn't exist.

    Morning Everyone.

This site kept me going through some dark times and the old style board in particular showed me that you don't have to be one of the sheep and you can live the kind of life I aspired to.

Martin this site helps countless people every week so don't let the idiots that want to apportion blame get you down.

I haven't got any sound on my computer but his poor face at the start of the clip! I don't think C4 know that there are loads of people who are very protective over this guy.

Keep up the good work Martin, I don't think you know how many people you are helping, in more ways than just money. He's one of the good guys!
  • Adding my thanks & support to Martin too.

I haven't watched the interview but as others have said, Martin & this site provide researched information - which people can use to make THEIR OWN informed decisions. I too am far better off than I would be without this site, but equally it does not mean I take every piece of advice either - I am sure that is the same for many of us.

I have 3 teenage daughters, all of whom understand the basic concepts about money already - something I had to learn about the hard way.

I think Martin & this site do an amazing job - I wonder if channel 4 would be equally as keen to publicise the positive outcomes. Oh no, is that a flying pig outside my window...?!?!

  • I can only say that everyone has already written what I would have .
I personally have saved so much and re-organised my finances and would'nt of been able to do so without the help of this board.I've learned so much.
Whenever there's a crisis, they look for a scapegoat and this time they've picked Martin.Unfair but it happens.
I totally support Martin and wish him well.
Martin take some comfort in the fact you've helped so many in the past and the majority of us are very grateful.Thankyou.

I for one am very grateful to Martin for starting this site and to his advice. I have learned such a lot fom logging on to here. I don't know where I would be without all of you lovely people for support. Martin is the first to say that any financial advice has to be taken with caution.

I think you just hit the nail on the head!

Actually, when I first saw the thread title "OS gesture of support for Martin", I thought for a second that someome was suggesting baking him a cake or something.

    Would a C4 news presenter's head fit in a slow cooker? :D
    _________________________________________________________won't fit

    LOL

If it won't fit in a slow cooker, we can always put it on a large serving platter with an apple in it's mouth!

I haven't watched the interview, thanks to the link I WILL watch it later and then I may just email Channel4 with my thoughts re their programme.

Martin Lewis, we are all behind you and support you 100 percent.

This website has saved me a small fortune, and taught me so much.

I, for one, cannot thank you enough.

A big thank you Martin and big cyber hugs.
