I didn't see the program, but am disappointed if this is the case. This site has been of tremendous assistance to a large number of people, no payments are made, and all information provided is discussed by the community - it vets itself. Martin and his site and forum is like a huge squishy bed to cuddle up in where I know I am safe no matter what happens. I know Martin or a forum member will have all the answers.

I've been a member of this community for about 16 months and Martin, along with other members, has helped me to economise so much.

Have to admit to still not having anything put by in an account, but I'm managing my finances far better, cutting day-to-day costs and have no debt whatsoever.

With all the 'credit crunch' that has gone on this year and the crazy increases in energy costs and cost of living, I would have been floundering badly without the advice that I've received.

I am now spending sensibly, there is ALWAYS food in the freezer (good wholesome, home-cooked food at that - thanks to Old Style) and I am on-target for a debt-free Christmas.

I've had a really good 2 week holiday that didn't break the bank or put me in any debt - even shopped old-style/mse while away .

I have still not had a pay increase so far this year - due to the Union still arguing about how much we should receive - but that's not affected me. It will be a great back-dated bonus when it does finally arrive .

So :T many :T thanks :T to Martin, all at MSE Towers and all forum members for your inspiration and support!

And hey, Martin, don't let the bgrs grind you down :money: :money: :money: .

I'm not going to watch the interview but I'm happy to offer my support to Martin for what he does, and the other people on these boards that share knowledge and advice!

We all make our own choices at the end of the day, but to me knowledge is power.

Thank you Martin, and everyone else, for this site and all its component parts.

Many thanks for the link. I have now watched it. There seems to be lack of research on the part of Channel 4 - they clearly weren't aware of the objectives of Martin and MSE. Any rational person would understand that Martin is not personally responsible for any money losses. The information he provides is clear, unbiased, and at the end of the day it is down to the individual to make their own financial decisions. Martin has my full support!

Looking on the bright side, Martin sends his e-mails to 2.5 million people, whilst C4 news has a paltry 800,000 viewers! :rotfl:

Martin gives impartial advice - it is advice he doesn't make anyone do anything, nor does he have a crystal ball to predict the future but he does consider trends and give cautious advice upon them. None of Martin's advice has been flawed IMHO. There are thousands of us better informed and better off thanks to Martin.
