I went and bought one online after reading this thread and being tempted for days. Thing is I really dont need another coat
. Think I will add new buttons to it when it comes to make it a bit different.

There was a girl in front of me in the queue at Boots yesterday and she had this coat on with a gorgeous scarf in shades of green with glittery bits (not a woolly one) and it looked really classy. I had to look really close to make sure it was the Asda coat (a bit too close really, hope she didn't notice!!)
Anyone know where they sell cheap scarves?0 -
Repeating my question - is it warm?0

But as u know its been warm lately, but I have found it maybe will not be warm enough when it gets really cold...cos when Ive worn it in Tesco...near fridge area, that its a bit chilly!!!0 -
I would say it is definitely NOT a warm coat. Warm enough for autumn and when it starts getting a bit chilly, but not warm enough for really cold winter days. I bought an size up so i could wear a thick jumper underneath, but tbh i think i will need a warmer coat on really cold daysBest win: ITV Real Deal £2100!!

I thought it was warm!! I tried it on over a big jumper and defo thought it would keep me warm on winter mornings. I wasn't sure whether to buy (being stingy!) and loitered around wearing it waiting for my husband to come and look, lol. I knew by his face when he saw me that it looked good, so that was the first thing in the trolley! It is a fab buy - excellent value, can go with anything and is a classy shape too. Thanks OP!0

I bought one in Asda's Coventry store on Saturday - very pleased. Any ideas though where to get some different buttons to customise it? There were many in stock when I was there ...lots of different sizes too0

Only had size 8 and 12 in my store , they was placed right at the front where you go in. Tried on the size 12 , its a lovely coat but not a thick wool , bargain for £15 tho. Havent bought one yet , going back later with DD to see what she thinks. Not sure it would keep you warm unless you did have a jumper under , which you probably would in winter !!:rotfl:
