Have just ordered mine online - I've been looking for a winter coat I could afford for ages, thanks OP :-) I also picked up a hat, glove and scarf set for DD for £3, and some slipper socks for £2, it's worth a look around the site. I couldn't find a code for free delivery, so I thought I'd at least get my money's worth out of paying for it :-)0

I've just been and bought my coat. They have quite a lot left but it's a big store and I've seen them re stocking a lot. I can't believe it was only £15! I'm quite petite, it's slightly long on the arms but otherwise fits perfectly! Never had a coat fit so well.:j0

Me too, I can't usually wear wool as it makes me itch too much.
I've just received the coat and I'm in the minority as not that impressed. Probably partly due to the fact that it was completely screwed up in transit and very crumpled, also I'm usually a 12-14 so ordered a 14 thinking that it had to go over clothes. But it is absolutely enormous!! I would say that they are more than 'generous', I'd suggest getting a size smaller than usual. Also they are long in the sleeve as I have really long arms and they come halfway down my hands.
And yes, to answer the itchy wool question, I did start to feel itchy while I was trying on, it's lined but round my wrists it was quite bad. I was wearing a short sleeve top though. It would probably be bearable I'd say, but definitely a bit of itch!0 -
Hi everyone
Glad to see lots of others managed to get the coat, hope you don't all live near me..... only joking!! like others posters said it can be styled in so many different ways with accessories.
Can't believe I made it into Martin's weekly email!! That can be my new claim to fame! LOL

That's what they called it on This Morning, think that it's probably come from Asda's marketing department as their coats are not as cheap as this normally - see article below:

Anyway it's nice to share a bargain with everyone! Even if all us MSE'rs will have matching coats........!! :rotfl:0 -
Thanks OP - mine arrived today, pretty impressed for the price - unfortunately, I managed to spend another £85 on clothing for myself and the children at the same time lol"I married beneath me, all women do." - Nancy Astor 1879-1964

I bought one on Sunday from my local store. I got a size 18 (biggest size they had) and it has plenty of room. People at work were really suprised that it was only £15, although I had a £2 voucher as the other week they didn't put through a special offer so I got a gift card as an apology so for £13 a real bargain!:beer:Proudly paying as little as possible for stuff since birth:beer:0

Lots of sizes in Woodchurch store today just inside the door.0

it reminds me of the 'miners' coat sold on the markets in the 80's. well its the same fabric (only that it was a heavier fabric compared to this which is quite lightweight) and they used to be only around a tenner or less. seems all that asda has done is restyle it .. and doubled the price.0
