£15 George @ Asda Ladies Credit Crunch Coat!

If anyone is near Rochdale, they had PLENTY in there today, in all sizes by the look of it.

I'm now the proud owner of a little black coat- I don't care if a lot of people have them, the best thing about them is they're classic and plain, so you can always individualise them as the person said above.

I personally found they come out quite big. I'm usually a 10, but as the coat is quite fitted I found I didn't fill it out in the top, IYSWIM, but found an 8 fitted perfectly. Not too short in the arms either.

Don't want to sound a bit weedy but I need a good warm winter coat - how warm are they?

I was in the Elgin Asda today but saw no sign of these coats at all.

However they did have a really good travelator thingy that was a lot of fun. Daughter and I went up and down several times as we kept 'forgetting' things from each floor.

Simple things.

Shipley had lots of these coats yesterday in all sizes. They were in a prominent position at the start of the clothes section but no-one seemed to be taking any notice of them! Perhaps they hadn't watched This Morning or read MSE! Anyway I got myself one and am very pleased with it for the price. A handy little coat I think.

I love this idea thanks, might buy another one just to customise it with different colour buttons any other ideas for this?

braid round the cuffs/collar
add a belt
fur trim round the hem
will try and think of some more !!

You could also add a bright brooch/flower pin on the collar

Feel rather thick but here goes for my stupid question. I've read the Asda stuff about returning goods. I'm tempted to order but am confused.
Can I return non-faulty items (ie if I've changed my mind) to my local store, to avoid postage charges back?

Does anyone know the length of this coat? Looks short on the model, but then she's got long legs. Can't get to a store to try it on, so not sure whether to order it as I'm only 5ft 2". Can anyone help?

I tried one on today (lots in Milton Keynes Asda BTW!) - I'm only 5ft, so it came down to just below the knee I think!
