Only 95%.
I'm slipping.

In my opinion Silver and Gold will be a good investment, amongst others (unlike the FTSE WHICH IS GOING TO GET CREAMED..I'LL GO FOR 4000 WITHIN 12 MONTHS)

I just happen to have focussed my research in the Silver/Gold/mining arena.

What's your pick ?
Or do you just like to knock opinions without an alternative.

Come on ..give me your tips/predictions...

Have you noticed our bankrupt government changing the rules on government debt today?
The writing is there on the wall for all to see.

The UK is worse than the USA...and that is imploding soon.

    Hi Stevie,

Does that mean you think its going to go back up again?

I'm not so sure. I'm definately not an expert but I can't remember things looking so grim at any point in my (albeit short) lifetime.

People keep comparing it to the great depression and stocks took 20 years to recover (or so I'm told).

I'm hoping governments know how to handle the economy better than they did then, but its still a bit scary...

    :-(

By the time it goes back to 6000 a loaf of bread will cost £2 MINIMUM.

I think Spectacular is understating what the Bounce will need to be to clear out what happned in the last week......it'll need to be be in the region of
    something never seen before

Are you really only 6 years old? ;)

At the start of the millenium you had a number of events that occured over a prolonged period and the markets were in a buble at the time. The FTSE100 dropped 44.66% then (5/9/2000-13/3/2003). This time it has dropped 38%. So, at this very moment in time, the stockmarket is down less than it dropped then. Although its quite possible that we will match it tomorrow. Of course that is the markets. The economic situation is different and the markets and the economies dont always work in the same timescales. Markets tend to overeact going up and overeact when they go down. They also tend to act in advance.

I might just do a bit of short term trading tomorrow, (on credit of course).

I think FTSE is due a massive plunge but I don't think it will happen tomorrow.
