Well hello everyone. Been giving Mr T a bit of a chance to get their act together for a while, but have been having a whale of a time this weekend. Broke my 2006 duck, very easily I might add. Did not have any issues about managers discretion at all, one CS being a bit awkward with XBOX games poster but soon put the manager on the right track, about what his legal responsibilities were with regard to CPA, ASA.Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.
EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items.0 -
dollywops wrote:I purchased a blouse on Friday that had been reduced to £1. I used the self-service till and scanned the original barcode, not the yellow £1 reduced barcode by mistake. Today, I realised I had been overcharged. I took the blouse back. The CS refunded me the £3.50 I had paid, and then asked if I had used self-service. I said I had (she could obviously tell that from the receipt). She then told me that as I had used the self-service till and scanned the wrong barcode, it was not an overprice, as it was my fault. She then went on to say, as she had already processed the refund, there was nothing she could do anyway. She was very pleasant, knows me, as I am in there all the time.
So, beware, if you use a self-service till, and try to obtain an R&R, you may find you have a problem.
And she's absolutely right too.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
