your reindeer food looks fab Rainmac, well done
I haven't started mine yet, however I have the hamper all done up and ready to go just need to add reindeer food and snowman soup ... had a bit of a disaster with the snowman soup however I was trying to be clever :rotfl:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Mary the cellophane bags came from ebay, Flower Hour shop and the hessian 'bag' isn't a bag it's a rectangle of hessian fabric sort of drawn together to look like a bag. When the ribbon comes off the hessian will fall off leaving the cello bag done up with an elastic band. Does that make sense
My boys are only little so didn't go to the bother to make bags as I don't think they will mind
Evening Rainmac,
Could I ask where you got your lovely design/picture/poem for your reindeer food? I don't think I could design something so professional!

So sorry to disappoint Sugarhunny but all I did was print the tags and someone much cleverer than me designed them! These are the tags I used... http://organizedchristmas.com/printable-magic-reindeer-food
I did think I'd try making my own but then found these:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I used those labels - not sure whether there are any other ones around but if you google 'reindeer food' there might be some others come up.
I'm now struggling to concoct a little book out of the Christmas Star story I did. Got it all done in A5 and columns but can't get it to go together in little booklet form so the pages follow on...........thinking I'll have to have another go - either that or get little notebook and just stick it in there................lol
Thought it would be easy to do...........Mary

I wonder if anyone can help me? I've just been trying to print off a couple of letters from this website so that I can put them in my Christmas Eve hamper. However, it doesn't seem to do anything! I get as far as entering the details and then it won't do anymore. Can anyone help or suggest another website?
I can't believe whose idea it was to do Christmas Eve hampers but thankyou - I'm really excited about it. I've been looking to make some special traditions -this is great.
Thankyou

You could try this one. Failing that put 'free santa letter' into google and see what comes up.
I did my own (on santas behalf...................lol) Did one last year for his first Christmas and put a few bits of clip art in it.........same this year. Couldn't seem to find a santa letter for his age of 18 months and it made it a bit more personal doing it myself so I could say what he's done during the year.Mary

Well tonight was the night...that I started to wrap Xmas presents & sort out what I already have to go in the Xmas eve hamper! I don't usually start in Oct but it is DD's birthday next week & my parents are coming to stay...they sleep in DD's room, DD sleeps in DD2's room (which currently has boxes of stuff for her Halloween party which need to go in our room), our room has boxes of Xmas presents which have arrived over the last 2 weeks which I need to move into the loft...so rather than moving the presents to the loft, then next month getting them down & wrapping them & putting them back up I thought I would start wrapping!
Onto the Xmas eve hamper - the DVD's I have to go in are The Snowman (we have the book & the girls love it) & Santa Clause 3, I have PJ's already (just hop they fit them) & the 1p books from the other week (yay got 2!).
Gonna wrap lots to go to Cornwall & get my parents to take it with them!!!

Nicky, your house sounds like mine - stuff everywhere! My DS1 started school in September and has been doing half days but does full days next week before breaking up for half term. I'm going to try and get more sorted with presents and wrapping things while he is at school next week. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Mary, that's what I'm worried about, that I'll forget what things are for what people. I am so looking forward to sorting it all out. I've done some but got loads more to do...! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
