hahaha I'd love to leave my screaming brats at home but I think the social services would have me hung for that ;)

There's only so much online shopping you can do before your bottom becomes bigger than the chair cos you never walk anywhere....:D
Why not shop online and with the time that you save, take your children to the park for some good fresh air and exercise. It will also save your behind from spreading and the children will be healthier too. Especially if you walk them to and from school too.

I think that the time spent with the children in or at the park or on walks is invaluable. Much better than squabbling round the supermarket aisles.

its not the screaming kids i have a problem with but the kids who run around and theres just teh 1 parent who does they're best to round them up and control, why is it some parents let theyre child to sit in the trolley but on the handle it says to not put your child in the trolley as it could topple over

Why do people insist on taking their screaming brats to supermarkets anyway? And I think old people should only be allowed to shop at certain times. they have all week to shop, so why they need to do it at lunch time/after work ie. 5pm and at weekends is completely beyond me. I am a woman and funnily enough women are my biggest problem shopping. dilly dallying....talking to their friends while blocking aisles..... generally taking up too much bloomin room!

Old people DO do all their shopping on the same day...Thursdays! ~ pension day! I try to avoid thursdays in Asda unless absolutely neccesary as you can't move for old folk doddering about ~ I mean that in the nicest way possible! lol.

By the way, yes I am a mum with a buggy but it's usually me trying to get past everyone else blocking aisles with their damn trolleys. I had to ask 3 ladies to move their trollies going through the clothes section today. One did, two ignored me so I just waited tapping my foot as loudly as I could! and then my lovely little 18month old little girl started singing loudly which soon got their attention!

My no1 pet hate though is people who give the filthiest looks when you say excuse me! !!!!!! I'm trying to be polite, what would they do if I just barged past???????!!!

You've not done a Waitrose online shop then...... and hey, if you have the time and like pushing trolleys out of your way, then fine, stop moaning....

I work full time and do not want to spend my precious time in a supermarket - if others do, that is their choice and shut up complaining!

Pardon me for breathing and daring to offer my comments - I thought that this topic was about ladies shopping in supermarkets? I may have a male name on here but I am definitely a woman.

I cannot shop online with waitrose because they don't have any stores near me.

I find your tone rather offensive.

Horace - its the pure nature of this forum - we are here to 'vent' our spleens if necessary :D

Guess I was a tad abrasive......... sorry.......... :o:o:o

Asda's online are pretty ok for me too as well as Waitrose (who are not as dear as you'd think, quality outstanding tho). I found Tesco's and Sainsburys useless.

I hate doing 'big' shops - so get the majority of boring repetitive stuff online. Saves so much hassle. Spend alot less too as you only order what you want and need. Recommend it.
