Bless you. You're a nutter. Just chill out. If you can't have a week off of self indulgence and bonding after having a baby...when can you. You only have your first baby once don't forget! I noticed you're worried you freaked Courgette out with your birth story. Where did you post it? I'd like a read. I'm sensitive to others aren't I?? :rotfl: Sorry Courgette.

I still wish I was on the bandwagon...but alas, my little Belle will have to do for now. :D

I go awol for a few days and come back to find earthlet has arrived!!

HUGE congratulations on the arrival of baby James - and really, really, REALLy stop thinking MSE for a couple of weeks - take it from one who's been there 4 times! Use b/f as an opportunity to have a drink/ read a book/ sit there and do nothing. (unlike me - I b/f whilst on here all the time - but I've had literally years of b/feeding!!) Some things are more important ;)

Much love and best wishes to all 3 of you!!

You made me chuckle GT. I used to breastfeed all over the house getting up to all sorts. I could type one handed, cook, eat, hang washing up.

You kind of just get on don't you once the baby has got the idea of what to do.

Although sometimes it was nice to just sit there and have a cuddle.

Ooh yes - I've even vacuumed whilst they've b/f (in a sling!) 2 of mine have been real comfort suckers, so it was a case of sling and suck and get on with stuff or sit on sofa all day long!

Not that I'm knocking sitting on sofa with bubs at all - it's a lovely bit of special bonding time - you even appreciate the 3am feeds when they've gone for good! (well, look back at them wthrough rose tinted glasses, anyway!:rotfl:)

Hope all is well with the earth family x

Yes all is fine, and I am not brave enough to do anything whilst b/feeding, so I get a few hours here and there to get things done when I can at the moment. I've done nothing off my list, but thats to be expected. I have filled out the child benefit forms though just now :)

    To add to my list:
Check for other benefits (don't think I qualify)
shop and scan - scan reciept in, scan something for oh.
Chase up complaint (D) and make a complaint to well known nappy brand - had a nappy with a load of black goo in it urgh! (before I put it on him of course!)

Best wishes to all I am missing all your diaries!!

    Hi all,

Well so much for feeling normal, I must have been in shock!

I have been having to take it really easy with headaches and trying to keep up my milk supply, earthlet feeds every 2 hours or so and its exhausting!

I am having a really tearful day as well, might be the baby blues, as my mum who has stayed all week, has gone and I just feel so sad. I really miss her and obviously she was such a great help and such good company for us.

I now have to get myself together a bit, stop crying and feeling sorry for myself, get my batteries recharged and start thinking positivley.
