Congratulations, does baby earthlet have a name yet? They say you soon forget the pain but 10 years down the line I don't think so. The most important thing at the moment is that you and baby are fit and well. You can soon claim back your rightful place when you are ready.
Congratulations

Sorry to hear it wasn't pleasant for you. Really pleased to hear that baby earthlet is here and ok. I've been checking back for days to see if there was any news from you.
I would say to hell with being too concerned with energy usage etcetera at the moment. Enjoy it. Breastfeeding is might hard and time consuming, and it is your most important job at the moment.
And just because one experience wasn't pleasant, please don't let it put you off if you want more later. I didn't enjoy the 1st time but the 2nd time was a lot more 'pleasant' if you can ever describe it that way.
You have 'earned' the reward of your gorgeous baby, and i hope you are back to full health as soon as possible to enjoy every precious moment. It doesn't take long at all till they are huge.
The best parenting tip i can give is to just take a deep breath and wait (count to 10). All situations seem stressful, but you survive, and then a new thing comes along to torment you.
Best wishes to you and your OH xxx0 -
Congratulations on the arrival of little Earthlet :j
Em, the pain will go but the brain will never be the same againA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

:shhh::shhh::shhh::shhh::shhh::shhh: Shh! That's quite enough about painful births, thank you!:cool:
:wave:Welcome, master Earthlet. Glad all is well now :T:T:T
Enjoy these magical first few days, they grow up so quickly :AUpdating soon...0 -
Congratulations!!! :j a new earthbaby, how exciting!
Sorry to hear the birth was traumatic, but it is all behind you now and you have a life time of enjoying the little one. The first few weeks are always total chaos, and hard to get a routine, but give it time and it will be back to normal. Get lots of rest, and good food, breast feeding (and lack of sleep) is exhausting, but a wonderful thing to do.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Congratulations on your new arrival. Just concentrate on you and the little one for the next few days while your mum is around to help.
Breastfeeding is so time consuming (but so wonderful), just enjoy and let your body rest and recover.
