Please give yourself time to recover. Try and get a bit of sunshine every day if you can, and eat well, and let yourself have a little cry. It is a huge shock to the system having your first baby and everything being so weird to normal, but you will be ok. Hugs xxx

sending lots of love. Make sure you're sleeping, or at least resting, whenever Earthlet does. This is the time for emergency takeaways, pre-chopped veg, disposable nappies and everything else that doesn't quite fit into being a moneysaver. Put yourself a big food shop on online including lots of tins of fruit which will keep - let me know if you need a code to make it a bit cheaper

    Thinking of you xxx

All my family live about 3 hours away, not too bad I suppose, but I can't nip over for a coffee, or to get a bit of peace!

    I miss them so much!

Thanks for the hugs, I was always going to be upset, mum actually made it to the birth as oh had to go to do some work urgently, so mum raced down, and she was there when he was ejected!

I have been feeling much better due to a visit from a very sensible practical health visitor, who says the contant feeding won't last forever, and nipple shields and dummies are ok if used appropriately.

Anyway, I have spent £7 on nipple shields and some fruit, so I have got to 17 days of August and spent £66. Helped by mum who insisted on filling up every cupboard and shelf in the fridge with healthy foods :)

Speaking of health, I am finding my figure is returning to normal somewhat, but I still need to try to eat healthily, and get out for a good walk everyday - now that my stitches are mostly pain free.

Went out with bubs to the library today, and I feel a bit more 'free' like I am not tied to the nursing chair (erm a white plastic garden chair) all the time!

    Onwards and upwards!

Managed to get to Mr As today with earthlet, and he was very well behaved. I tried not to be too neurotic about having him out there in the big bad world! Grocery shopping incl. disposables came in at £20, and included lots of healthy stuff for us all.

I have managed to maitain my shop and scan stuff, and imeasure, and I am still keeping on top of the electricity usage. We have been going on a lovely walk every day, and I am managing to get one extra thing a day done, and some things need urgent attention to keep me sane, and on track with saving and overpaying.

    - dust downstairs and hoover (to keep me sane!)
    - tidy tomato plants and give some attention to veg in garden
    - check items that need returning to shops and return them
    - tidy attic room (full of baby presents for when he is older)
    - start ebaying the pile I collected when nesting!

My next big challenge is to loose my baby weight, and I'd like to be 8st by Christmas, which means a bit more effort is needed!

Right well quite a lot of my to do list done, and things are returning back to normal here.

I have been using hardly any petrol, and so have easily completed my nsd and npd challenges the last few weeks, the challenge now is to plan my week properly and keep spends down.

Can't wait to get back to bringing in the money for OPs, think this is going to be the week!
