Can't wait to get back to bringing in the money for OPs, think this is going to be the week!

    OMG How wrong was I?

Poor earthlet was ill and back in hospital this week, but touch wood and cross everything he seems to be responding ok to medication and is a lot better. It was digestion problems, and it was so horrible seeing him in so much pain for so long.

I feel like I have lost a week of my life crying and worrying and seeing my poor baby in pain.

Still, trying to relax a bit more about it now, and not run to him everytime he makes a noise! And trying to be positive and to look forward :D

I have made another op of £1000, bringing the total we owe to £13,xxx, unlucky for some, but a nice number for me :j Feel like we are nearly there!

When earthlet and I get a bit more organised I can start bringing more money in for OPing.

    Challenges for this week:

1.Try to get earthlet moved more towards a routine so we can plan our days a bit better
    2. only 2 days spending and using petrol
    3. Start ebaying the pile in the loft.

All that really matter though is that we are healthy and happy

    Hi Earthy

What a week. Glad he is doing better now. I think you just learnt your first parenting lesson that things hardly ever go to plan. I wouldn't go too mad forcing a routine at his age. Every few weeks they change at this young an age, and i found i couldn't really get into a routine until about 4-6 months. It was when we had more settled meal times i found it happened. Babies can be so unpredictable and as a self confessed control queen i found it really hard to let go a bit. Make the most of it if you get an hour or so where you can get out and about a bit.

Hope you recover quickly yourself from the upset. It is horrid seeing them in pain. My DS1 had to have blood tests taken when he was a couple of months old at the hospital, and it was awful. I dread to think what it is like if you have a really poorly child what you all go through.

Nice to see you around. I just thought you had been new born busy.

Sorry to hear Earthlet has been unwell - how horrible for you all. Sounds like he's on the mend now though.

Well done on the OP too!

  • Hello,

You don't know me but I have been reading your diary for a while and was delighted when your baby arrived safely - you have worked so hard over the past couple of years! I was sorry that he had been ill and would just like to wish you all the best, and some sleep. Like the others say, a routine seems unlikely for some weeks yet so grab the time when you can!

    Best wishes,

    Squirrel

    Hello,

    Best wishes,

    Squirrel

Lovely to meet you Squirrel, and thanks for your advice and wishes :A

I (or rather earthlet) seems to have had a relapse, creid and fussed all day, constantly demanding food (OWWW:eek:) and finally fell asleep exhausted at about 5pm. I have managed to do a few hours of small business work - know I should sleep, but sometimes just doing something normal makes me feel part of the human race again!

Will see how he is tomorrow, poor mite.

I am hoping he sleeps really well, awakes refreshed and ready for a nice relaxing day.

Can't wait to get back to savin and earning for ops, sigh...

    A rather frazzled EG x
