Hi Earthgirl
Hope you're doing ok. Just delurking as I've suddenly realized we are in the same proffession and you may be able to offer some advice! Do you actually do any tutoring via the Internet or is the web site just an access point?
I've really enjoyed reading your diary and will try and delurk more often!
Can't wait to hear the business idea- very intrigueing!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Hi Jellie! No I don't do anything over the internet, just face to face. Are you thinking about this?
Had a good day, baby was great at 2 tutoring clients seen with no problems.
Just relaxing with him now, he is gurgling and giggling away! awww15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I used to work over the Internet as a mentor and a teacher but having turned down an opportunity to work on it full time to do my induction year teaching I can't get back into that job (which was perfect). I'd love to do something similar again but am not sure how!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

I am not sure either, but it sounds a great idea.
Another good day, one client seen, and some sorting and cleaning done.
I have made an op of £1000, so only £11xxx to go!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Sounds like you are doing well on the tutoring front. Which age group do you work with?
How is Earthlet doing?2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Sorry i havent posted for ages.. finding it really hard to find time to do anything now eartlet doesn't really sleep for long periods during the day and he gets bored sooo easily
He is with me now so sorry about the lack of punctiaton - typing one handed.
I've been doing well living out of freezer and cupboards - only spending around 14pounds on fruit and veg and I think i can keep it up for a while yet.
Ebay profits are looking good, about seventy pounds so far, but i beed a free listing day for some higher value items.
Tutoring is going well, about 6 clients per week, moving to 7 in november. I am keeping the profit at the moment as i will need it to start up another business - that and some more time
OH and I are now keen to get a buy to let property. Although we have nearly got this mortgage paid off except for the endowment bit, we will probably need to move to a bigger house, and I'd like to pay cash in 5 years - 10 or so... so time to speculate to accumulate I think.
right off to pack a few more parcels then to two tutoring clients and a food shop.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Nice to hear from you Earthgirl
Can I pick your brain about eating from the storecupboard/freezer? Do you make a list of what you have/what you're going to make? I always have good intentions and can manage for a week and then I start slippingCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

can't believe youre managing to juggle so much with looking after earthlet as well! I feel tired just reading your posts!
SmlSave - we're trying to get into the big shop -> run down the cupboards and freezer cycle. we meal plan on a weekly basis (i'm breaking OH in gently to this menu planning concept). Our list of meals for the week goes on the kitchen noticeboard so OH knows what to cook. It's rare we specify that X meal has to be on Y day unless we're using tumbledown meals or i'm on a late and need something that will reheat well.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
I just get aldis veg offers whatever they are, some fruit and milk, and then just grab something from the freezer most nights, but one night batch cook something to put back in the freezer...
Right off to post one last ebay parcel and continue with my small business work.
I have decided to learn welsh and sit my gcse next summer with the kids, i think it might be a good move career wise, just in case...
to do:
shop
post parcel
organise earthlets clothes
organise my clothes
finish cleaning house
finish small business work
learn next chapter of welsh
not much then, better get on :eek:15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
