Absolutely, I don't think he's coming anytime soon! Will be induced on the 14th of Aug though, will you be back to post a flashing picture? I love them!! Have a great holiday by the way, you deserve it!
I like 'earthlet' we don't have a name yet, so that will be lovely for the time being!!
I am up early this morning as I have decided I am not too keen on the curtains MIL made for the nursery. They are scary quite frankly! I should have been more specific, I know for next time. I will speak to oh about it when he awakes...
I have been doing some small business work and tidying/ decluttering.
The rules are:
1. Start at the back and create space, using the storage created to find a home for everything.
2. put things where I actually use them (why did I never think of this before?)
3. Create charity shop, ebay and freecycle areas, and get rid!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Aw bless, she's nesting :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

hey earthgirl
I spent part of yesterday looking through your diary and can I just say WOW!!!! the rate at which you managed to OP and take on so much work is just fabulous!! I know having a baby isnt really "restful" but you definitely deserve a well -earned rest or break after all that....I would love to manage to pay that much off my mortgage so am using u as inspiration (if thats okay?) it must feel wonderful to know little bubs is coming into the world and the worries of finances and having a home to call your own have an end in sight...
ps I think its not for a few months that babies start to be able to see in colours so you may be alright on the curtains for a whileunless of course they are also scary to grownups....

OH talked me into the curtains being ok, he says the only reason I find them scary is the connotations I hold towards the insects on the fabric. A baby won't be scared. I just don't know what she was thinking of!!!
Anyway I must be nesting, as I have tidied the attic and have loads of items to ebay. And an area for card marking, tutoring and sewing. I have organised banking files and cleaned a bit.
I have managed my nsd and npd targets this week.
It doesn't look like earthlet is arriving today, and I hate just sitting around waiting! so I am back to my mse ways in earnest tomorrow!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

yep I think thats part of my thinking too that you just dont know what life will throw at you and it would be lovely to have the financial security of knowing your home is safe no matter what (financially anyway) when did you start OPing ?...I feel frustrated at times that I cant get it all done like "right now!" am not very good at short term pain long term gain (like diets! ;o) )
hmmm re the curtains...now if youd said they had insects on them, I woulda had a different opinion!! ....seriously tho, they wont scare baby so should do for a while...sounds like your doing lots of nesting while you wait , enjoy...0 -
We had a mortgage of £145,000 and started oping I guess around 3 or 4 years ago, but didn't start really properly overpaying 'till 2 years ago. It was a bit frustrating early on, but now its great to look at the balance, it just kind of surprised me one day!
You'll get there, and everybody starts somewhere, it can be frustrating, but break it up into small chunks - it becomes addictive!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
