Can't believe you have finished work now. Well done on making it. Lots of posts saying you are taking it easy. Don't worry too much about bubs. HE's probably just moved and kicking into you rather than into your stomach, so not as dramatic.

Yay. Maternity leave, and a new bundle of fun really soon. xx

    Thanks!

I did take it easy at the weekend really. Had a bit of a party and oh spent £100 on food and drink, but we still have some left. Don't know why I even thought that I would be on budget this month!!! Our elecricity usage went up over the week as well, no doubt because of having all electrical items on on Saturday and all lights -oh and I really fell out about this, he likes all the lights on during the day to show off the house :( . Guess I am just tired at the moment!

Anyway, I've spent my birthday vouchers on some new flip flops, a new clothes airer so that I can dry loads of nappies.
I have bought a wind up radio, more pegs and a flask with my birthday money as well, hoping that I will only boil the kettle once for tea.

I also bought some tops that I want to convert to nursing tops. Total spend of my birthday money £20, so I have put the rest in the bank, and will see if I can make an op at the end of the month. I also did a ms in town, and used the computers n the library to fill in the questionnaire, it was really easy to use the library there, I was very impressed, and it means I am not using the electrcity here!!

This means that in line with my challenge, I will spend no more and use no more petrol until my midwifes appointment on Thursday.

Off to convert my tops, wish me luck!!!

Hi all, pd - I am in North Wales (just!) but I am right on the border!

All going well here and sticking to my challenges (just about) and my to do list. Weather has meant that I can't really get in the garden, but maybe today.

Converted the nursing tops and I am just waiting for the big day now!!

Do you need special breast feeding tops? I only ever had one outfit that was a nursing dress and that was because we had to go to some weddings while i was feeding.

I found if i wore a baggy vest top under the top i had on i could do it by lifting the top top and pulling the vest top down a bit. Saying that, my babies were so good while feeding and just got on with it. My friends baby pulled away all the time so you could constantly see her boobs but she wasn't stressed by that. I was asked quite a few times if the baby was asleep when they were feeding as it was so discreet, even from friends who were also breastfeeding at that time.

It is getting so close now. Don't get too stressed by your DH and a few lights and enjoy your last bit of true quality time together. It could be a long time until you have this kind of time to devote to each other again, so make the most of it.
