Feeling much better about things with OH today. Its up to him what he spends his money on really, and I like him to be happy. Thats not wasting money in my opinion. Its up to US though what we spend our joint money on, so I am less likely to let him off with leaving lights on and stuff - thats waste, and giving money straight to the energy company, money that could be used to OP!

Anyway, I have made an early OP for May of £1000 out of our joint money. That still leaves us £2000 before payday, and I am trying to stick to my £1000 /month (ish) budget and doing quite well I think.

5 items sold on ebay yesterday, I will report back when I have posted the items and update my kitty. I have bought my brother a running top for his birthday out of my kitty, got a great deal (new of course) on ebay and got it posted to my mums, she is going to wrap and give him it. I made a card for my next door neigbour who has had a lovely little boy, and I gave her a cute baby book I got on a mystery shop, so thats 2 presents that have not touched the budget.

Today I have complained to a few companies who have annoyed me lately - just to see if they refund me, and I have written a letter of complaint to a credit card company who were rubbish at setting up my direct debit.

This afternoon/ evening I need to do some small business work, plant some more lettuce, and get items ready to post tomorrow. I also have 3 tutoring clients starting from 3pm, phew! Might just veg with a (frozen) pizza later!

I know I am really lucky to be 6and a bit month pg and still have no effects other than being a bit irritable with OH - I am not going to take this for granted, I'm going to get rest too (hence the letters/emails today) so I am fighting fit for as long as possible. I really feel for courgette, who is in a lot of pain at the moment - hope you are ok at the mo if you are reading this!

There are 2 or sometimes 3 builders here most of the time, and I have stocked up with their tea, milk and sugar so should be ok!

Thanks sweetie. Dare I admit that I am insanely jealous of you and how active you're able to be. Damn, crying again

ETA: that sounds horrible and really whiney on my part. I apologise. Not deleted as you may have already seen it anyway. Keep up the good work, you're an inspiration :T

Bless you both. I'm now rethinking this baby business. Might just stick with my puppy (6 weeks till I get her home). :j

Had a good day, got the last evidence I needed for the pay forms which should be handed in tomorrow. I posted the ebay parcels and made £8.64, and I found £10 outside the post office. Didn't know what to do with it, couldn't see anyone in the street who had been in the post office, so just kept it ( is there a devil face to put here?)

So my kitty is healthy again, enough for me to buy a baby item I need that is quite expensive, and hopefully enough to cover a bit of the toiletries expense I had at the weekend - £14.99 for 12 razors for OH - I'll be over budget for 2 month if not!

Oh well. No worse than me. I found a pair of childs sunglasses that were like new in the park last week when i went mystery shopping. I asked a few people in the park if they were theres, and i ended up bringing them home thinking they would do for DS2. I then had second thoughts as i couldn't tell if the lens' were UV protected so i stuck them on ebay and made £1.70 from them. I'm not feeling bad about it. I see it as karma for the things that DS's have dropped in the past that no-one returned. I can think of about £15 pounds worth of stuff off the top of my head, that had gone even though i looked fairly quickly to see if i could spot it.

If you had handed it in, chances are the post office staff might have kept it anyway.

Glad to hear you are another pregnant lady putting her health first. By drinking more i presume you mean water or similar. Very important to stop you getting dehydrated or constipated. Not nice. Report back to us on that one to let us know you are doing it. ;)

    Thanks,

Actually, I was rumaging around in my bag at the time, and a man handed me the tenner, and I just took it thinking he'd seen me drop it, it was only after a few minutes that I realised I didn't have any money on me, so it couldn't be mine, and as I said there was no one else around... I kinda wish I'd taken it into the p o today, but nevermind!

I keep all money I find, even bits at school unless there's someone obviously looking for it. I found 37p on my desk today. Of course I would have returned it if a child had mentioned it but no one did. Does that make me a really bad person? :o
