No snow here yet but it is very cold and bright - perfect weather for walking and cozying up - except I'm at work.
Poor OH, have you tried giving him hot toddy's? They seem to work for me and my OH.family comes first!
You're quite right. I hope your Gran is ok.
I've only got a third of apples to go - yay!

I know I've been reading about your apples on your diary! You are not the only one to have blisters from peeling and coring! Good luck with them!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I have got another three tutorings to do today which is a pain as its rushing around but it is worth it for the £75 for the November OP pot:T . I should be on target for my 1K overpayment if I can keep tutoring at this rate, and I’m doing some overtime in the supermarket tomorrow and Saturday to have a bit extra for December!
A couple of my friends have given me big bags of clothes they have grown out of so I have plenty of ‘new to me’ clothes for the party season  !
I have to confess - we gave in and put two radiators on last night:o My poor OH has a bad cold and we were both cold all day, so we decided that paying off your mortgage shouldn’t mean you are miserable in the mean time!
I have to admit that its nice to have a warmish house today – still have two jumpers and a scarf on – but at least my bones aren’t cold!
Others who have still not put the heating on you are very brave!!!
So far I have tidied up and done some banking, called all the relatives who are having seperate crisis's and read all of the MFW diaries! Now is about the time I have to give myself a kick up the bum to get on with some productive ‘work’ so:
Income:- plan three tutorings and get route directions to the second.
- do 2 hours of website work
- Stuff the last of the peppers I grew with some mouldy cheese:eek: and some tomatoes for later. Make some chips and apple crumble as well.(it will be lovely!)
Get some exercise!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

What an annoying day I had yesterday! My tutoring took over the entire day - one was very dificult to find and I was twenty minutes late and very tetchy!
During the last one I looked at my watch because I thought i'd been there for ages, and the clock I was using in their house had stopped half way through  (I checked it at the start!) so I'd managed to do an extra 25 mins that I couldn't really charge for! doh!
I also had a tutoring customer who eventually booked ringing me up twice asking me loads of questions for half an hour! I tried to be nice but was getting a bit frustrated:mad:.
I managed to cook the smelly goats cheese and it was really nice! I only managed a 5 min walk so that does not count as exercise really:o and my poor OH kept us up all night coughing snd spluttering!
Still, determined to have a more productive day today!:j I have done some jobs in the house, been for a lovely walk (1 hour so that counts!) and about to go to my hopsital appointment. After that I'll do some website work and then overtime in the supermarket. Will pack up some leftovers and have a nsd.
Feel like this week off has just passed by in a blur and I haven't really got stuff done or enjoyed it that much really! I'll try to get as much done today and tomorrow and then try and enjoy a Sunday off!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

"smelly goats cheese" yum yum.
Well done for coping with your customers - you're very patient

I don't actually cook with recepies I just throw things together!! I normally peel, core and chop apples, boil for 5 mins with a handfull of sugar, put in a dish and cover with about 2 oz self rasing, 2 ozplain flour rubbed into about 2 oz butter and sprinkle loads of sugar on top. If I have bread crumbs I mix with sugar instead of using flour and butter.
I normally just use up whatever I have rather than follow a recepie!:rotfl:15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I have been progressing at a better pace! Its all in the mind I think but probably helped with some sleep!
I have just counted my OP pot and have £275 cash from tutoring to OP when I make it to nationwide. I should be able to raise this to £500 with money from my curent account, and then add another £500 from my OH.
I am a bit disappointed that I can't check my online banking to confirm this ! However, our business adwords account has been compromised  and I am busy scanning all the computers and updating virus software, so I don't want to risk logging on to internet banking until thats completed!
Adwords will refund us the money taken fraudulently, and I will change all of my passwords after the scans just to make sure we are safe - how annoying!
So far I have done my household chores (yawn!) and am doing some website work whilst waiting for the scans to complete. I am having a nsd and doing overtime in the supermarket later.
Have a good day everyone!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Biked to school today so NPD:j BUT about to head back in the dark  sure it will be ok - I hate winter! Tonight I will do 3 hours of website work as I am going away at the weekend so need to fit it in during the week.
