Hi Everyone,
Feeling all mse again!
Just booked a free haircut and a facial at SAKS with the voucher offer - I'll have to make sure I get two copies of the paper on Sunday! This is great as its one of the things I was going to cut down my spending on
I am also about to book a meal at a restaurant that I won a £60 voucher for for Sat night.
Other than that I've been really good - stuck to £32 for groceries excluding wine from the total
I have brought in my own biscuits and drinks so far this week, and am doing a couple of tutorings after school.
My Friday tutoring has cancelled - his wife is having a baby as we speak so I suppose I can let him off, so I will probably go into town and overpay the rest of my target then or Saturday.
I've done some free exercise and will try to do some more tomorrow. The old gym question will creep back into my mind if I don't keep it up!
Best wishes to all EG15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Had nsd 's all week (apart from a few groceries) so I'm pleased with that. Got a good deal on home insurance and breakdown cover, and got another block booking for tutoring, I envisage the customer spending about £440 :j so can't wait to OP that!
Don't feel like doing much tonightunlike me!
I could overpay, go to allotment, post some leaflets, or do some work on my laptop, but the first three involve showery weather and Friday traffic, so I've talked myself out of them.
No excuse for not working on laptop so I will do an hour! I will also bake some more cookies to take to work, and make chutney to spice up sandwiches. DONE
On Saturday I will:- post some leaflets
- sort out allotment DONE
- do lots of business work DONE
- go out for free meal (£60 voucher:beer:) DONE
- buy 2 notw papers for vouchers DONE
- go walking DONE
- finish off anywork not completed on Sat
- cook Sunday lunch /bbq DONE
- Overpay before tutoring
Have a good WE

Well -a productive cheap weekend!
OH and I had a lovely free meal, and I collected my SAKS vouckers for hair cut and facial.
My tutee cancelled, still not recovered after baby, so I didn't go into town and overpay.
I plan to have another week were I go back to basics and get things done without wasting money - NSD all week until Saturday.
My shopping bill for the week was £10, and I have made cakes and got stuff from the allotment to supplement.
This weekend we are at a wedding - I'm not going to spend any money on an outfit and I've already bought the hotel room (during my spending splurge last month!) and I have bought present, so I have only got drinks to spend on. And transport - I will be driving and my car is more economical anyway - OH has hurt his back driving and working too much.
It not really me that spends much on drinks - just hope OH is moderate - will have to use all my feminine charms to prise him away from the bar!!!
Have got Parents evening - 4 hours solid until 8pm. I will do banking tonight as I have a halifax regular saver "maturing" and I can't wait to OP it!!!
To do:
-banking
-exercise
-try to relieve muscle spasms in poor OHs back15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I love a good list where none of the points involve spending. My to do list at the moment seems to have a lot of items involving spending on it - rubbish!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Hi All,
Had a great NS week, and the weekend was great. Nice to see lots of friends at the wedding, and got to see parents today as well!
Weddings are expensive for all involved, this one only cost us about £150 for hotel room, present and fuel (no new wedding outfit for me, I avoided town all week)
So this week I have very similar week - penultimate week before the holidays.
I plan to:
1.Water toms at allotment
2. Go swimming
3. Finish planning tutoring
4. Complete 2 hours tutoring (£50 for op pot)
5. Cook alltment food - stuffed peppers
The rest of the week I need to concentrate on finishing a lot of school work, (planning year 11, planning year 12 and 13, portfolio).
Still concentrating on the bear necessities - not wasting money, I'm glad OHs back is getting better, we are happy and are heading in the right track with the OPs,

Hi all,
Great MS week so far.
Positives:
Greatly reduced food spend to £32 last month meant total outgoings on food and petrol were only £49 (Normally £250+!!)
Have taken snacks into work, and completed lunch duty everyday so nsd every day.
Boy in my class brought me in some HM cake which was lovely (15yrs old so v. unusual!)
Done a little bit of free exercise
Have got 2 new tutoring customers, one for 2 hours per week!
Have a free facial booked at saks on saturday
Negatives
Got to go to retirement party on Friday - est cost £30 and will be very boring.
Going to races on Sat - will be good but very expensive.
Have not managed to get to bank to overpay.
Have no motivation what-so-ever to complete school work. Just firefighting at the moment!
TO DO:
Complete next most important task at work
Plan tutorings
Overpay remainder of June (£700) plus make a July overpayment
Complete small business work and make list for hols
continue with free exercise and don't look at gym offers!
Encouraged by the progress made so far, especially to low grocery spend!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Managed to "book" a weekend away staying on a sofa bed so will cost nothing(no b&bs available I did try!)
Had a nsd and had allotment food for meals (jacket potatos, salad)
Managed to make a list of everything I need to do in the holidays
Got a work task ready to do tomorrow, then thats another one off the list!
Anyone got any tips on saving money when out on work dos?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
