I suppose we are quite broody as couples go! Was on some medication which meant we couldn't try for kids, but thats gone now so we will see!!

I have just checked all of my accounts (apart from the home account annoyingly as the RBS site is down) and have some good news :)

Mortage has gone down from £132,000 to £121, 450
Our endownment is still on track to pay for £45,000
    which leaves £76,450
    I've savings of £24,000
Which means I only have to find £52,450 to be mortgage free!

I will do this in the next four years, as is my target, as long as the endowment stays on track.

I see this as good news and good encouragement as 52,450 sounds quite doable!

    A very happy EGx

    Thanks!
I have actually got some folic acid kicking around but its early days!

Anyway had a 'spend' day yesterday- needed petrol £35, shoe insoles £1.40 and a new watch strap £6, but I couldn't really do without these for much longer.

Today I've had a nsd so far, but I'm going to shops after work and despite me saying we only need fruit and veg, OH has produced a list with 4 or five other things on, but I'm going to stick to £8!

I then have a tutoring so thats £25 for OP pot.

We had strawbs from the allotment the other day, and its looks like I'll have a good crop so that will reduce our fruit spend.

I went to doctors yesterday and he mesured me - I've grown an inch?!! (must be posture?!!)
But my body mass index is going up so I have got to do exercise instead of mincing around!

So the next time I post I want to say
    - I've stuck to £8 for groceries
    - I've done some exercise

I think you need to be taking the folic acid regularly don't you as it is in the very initial few weeks that it is effective? You've had a check on Rubella immunity too I hope (don't rely on having been covered by the injection at school age).

Personally I'd not mince around my doctor but who am I to judge? :rotfl:

    Did you achieve this?

My oh gave me a shopping list before I went with loads of other items on, so I was a little bit over at £9.38, but I was quite pleased as I shopped carefully. However was so annoyed got home and OH had bought some of the same stuff as me - why??

He reasoning was he wasn't sure what I would get, but I keep explaining we won't have money if we spend it. and buying two jars of marmalade on the same day is really annoying!

Anyhow, took my clothes back to next, and made £75 tutoring in last few days :)

Had a really annoying day at work nothing I can really do but learn from it :( but off on holiday to friends caravan tomorrow for the weekend. Taking a picnic tomorrow night but then will enjoy a few bbqs hopefully!

Oh and been for 30 mins walk, not great but progress - no mincing around here anymore!

Good weekend wishes to all MFWs x

Weekend away was lovely! Great weather and great company. We spent about £150, but OH paid from a gambling win. It is one of two weekends away we are having this year instead of an actual holiday.

Came home and picked strawberries, salad, radish and potatos from allotment - this is a great money saving thing.

    This week I need to
    - Work on small business
-sort out the allotment a little more (weeding, planting winter veg)
    - bike into work and back twice.
    -Overpay on mortgage

Also, eat healthily, take vitimins and drink water.
