A week pah that's nothing I have been waiting over a month (they say wait a month before reporting them missing so I have).

This is not the first time either, although my first order went missing this was more down to the delivery firm than BOL.

BOL take YEARS to deliver books (same as all other clubs connected, i.e. Fantasy Science Fiction club etc..) but their prices are good and if you report the books missing then they usually send repeats. Also, I received a damaged book and they sent me a new one and told me to donate the old one to charity which I thought was pretty good.

Apparantly their delay on delivering books is due to them moving warehouse but they've been using that excuse for about 6 months now so basically it's just that their delivery's crap.

Placed my order on 15.11.04 and all three books (no p&p ) were delivered on 25.11.04. I'm pretty happy with that sort of service at a great price. ;D

knuckledragger - you must be in the minority. I would advise anyone wanting to order in time for Christmas to do it NOW, to avoid dissapointment.

I've used BOL for years on account of their cheap prices. But the latest order took over 3 weeks to arrive. They didn't answer any emails and when I eventually got through on the phone they said there was a 3-4 week delay in delivery despite having told me they'd despatched it on the same day I ordered it. I must admit I've never had these problems before with BOL but it does hack me off that they know there's a delivery problem and they can't be bothered to tell you when you order. I wouldn't trust them to deliver before Xmas now. It's a shame cos their prices are THE cheapest anywhere.

Seems like I may have had a result. Pity I didn't know at the time, with that sort of luck I'd have bought a lottery ticket also...;)

Had a series of nightmares with this company.. very.. very.. very slow delivery.. operators that do not know their elbow from their.. 'chin' Dispatch dates online which are realy "order placed" dates..

I am currently chasing them for a full refund under Distance Selling Regulations.. and 'cos a realy have gotten fed up with them.. may be worth the £30 or so at the small claims court..

Of all the online reatilers.. this is the one i will NEVER use again..
