Unfortunately, all the ASUS ones seem to be gone now. I am looking for one with similar spec and a similar price, would be great if someone finds something to post it in here

I am also looking for a netbook for a xmas pressie for my 8 yr old, but to be honest no idea what specs I should be looking for. I'm hoping to spend around £150 - £200 max but there is so much choice out there that I don't know where to start?0

My view is if it is for an 8 year old just get the cheapest you can find. S/he will have internet access at school as well.Torgwen..........

For me it would be between the Toshiba and the Samsung, they both will have better build quality than the Packard Bell, and the bigger hard drive on the Toshiba would probably swing it in favour of it.
But i would go into a shop and try them and then make a final choice.====0 -
