Anyone close their Icesave - money in Limbo

    I to transferred out my instant access savings on Monday evening by BACS & closed the account. Stupidly didnt take a print off of my statement before this.

    I have just reset the password & can now log on to my account (I still have an ISA with them). No sign of the funds I transferred being returned to my account or in my current account. When I call them it is constantly engaged...is a little worrying but am sincerely hoping the money hasnt disappeared..

    my closed account is now re activated but shows £0.00 balance and not the 10555--but they told me yesterday the money was there -I think with all tranactions it is taking time to credit the accounts .

    hi-- yes it is the same account number as before and above that the isa account whic has being credited.

    we need to keep up dated on this matter -I will post as soon as any news.

    There appears to be something going on with Icesave login - I've been logging in regularly checking for my closed accounts to re-appear, and both last night and again now, my login/password 'doesn't match'. Last night I went through the password reset procedure and that worked ok (albeit slowly), but still no money today. Just tried again and my new password doesn't work again!
    I guess things are happening all the time, I shall try again later.

  • My details are also incorrect, which also occured last night. I unlocked the account last night and there was no change. The password worked up until about 10.30 today and its now saying its incorrect. Think I'll wait a bit...

    I have the situation of my ISA fully closed, no money recvd and no listing in the summary. Some lady at Icesave told me that they could still see it on there systems.

    I hope it reappears just for my peace of mind. I reckon the FSA will have complete access to the backend systems so should be able to do everything for us ?!
