I agree... lets hope we all have good news soon... on our Icesave and KE accounts!
It will teach me not to bank with overseas based banks.

perhaps everyone should stop calling ING / KE .... that way the staff answering the calls and saying the same thing to everyone could go into the back office and start processing our BACS / CHAPS ??!!!!0

Despite all the assurances am still pretty nervous. I made at BACS transfer first thing on 8 Oct as I figured that since news reports the day before confirmed that KE was running normally, it would take a week or so before everything crumbled (hmmm, clearly I am no expert!).
Now I have £7500 floating about god-knows-where - am hoping will get it back soon as I am having my bathroom re-fitted at the beginning of Nov and will need to pay the builder.
As for KE/Ing's assurances...I'll believe it when I see it!
Sorry to sound gloomy and negative - I know that I'm not the only person in this particular boat and that there's nothing we can do about any of it. Think I may head down to the pub - that'll lift my spirits...0 -

The staff who man the phones are being told to reassure callers, but they aren't necessarily in the know. When I spoke to KE on Monday they assured me the bank was solvent and in no danger of collapsing like Icesave as KE is a British subsidiary. That didn't prove accurate. Same goes for ING staff - they will tell callers what they want to hear.
Again, I note that nobody on this thread has received their money yet. I will believe everything is fixed when I start seeing payments come through.0 -
