In all fairness though, everyone at ING has been working flat out the last few days, I know its a stressfull time but we are doing all we can. (Hint best time to ring us is at 16.30) At that time we had zero calls in the queue today for about 15 mins

I was meaning to abandon my KE account, but with a bit of perspective I am reconsidering this - partly thanks to the info from Valleycommando...

Assuming I get my CHAPS nightmare is sorted out within reasonable time, there is no particular reason why I couldn't stay on with ING.. I'd prefer it over HSBC where my other accounts are.

(However if I have have to keep worrying about my hard earned savings for much longer, then I swear I'll use another account for my savings and it's TOT ZIENS to ING... )

Many thanks to valleycommando for taking time out to keep us informed and reassuring those of us who've initiated BACS/CHAPS transfers. We appreciate all the hard work involved in this terrible mess and all the extra hours you and your colleagues are putting in.

Can't wait to see the first post stating that someone's money has arrived at its destination

Please add me to the list as I have money transferred using CHAPS that hasn't arrived in my receiving bank although my KE account shows that it isn't there either

We seem to have the answers we need and should scale down our worrying. Those with creditors pending payments can now quote our own Valleycommando. Good luck to all.
