Chuff all in HSBC yet too.....we're going away at 11am, reallywant to be able torelax and enjoy my hols rather than stopping at cashpoints to check my balance every 5 mins...aaaaagh

Well, after all this, I am taking all the money out of my KE account and putting it in Nationwide 6-month bond. I did receive my £15k transfer on Friday, so now lets wait and see how long the new transfer (CHAPS this time) will take to reach me... It is in the ether at the moment...

As I sit here very nervously awaiting developments on my KE money, BBC Radio 3 have just said in their News at 08.30:

"Dutch Ministers Insist that ING is healthy"

Where have I heard that before? I suspect ING's helplines will be jammed all day.

ING having a cash injection is a complete red herring. Half the banks in the world have had cash injections.

Don’t add to your worries unnecessarily.

Yes, it was... We talked with OH yesterday after seeing the new Nationwide 6-month bond and we decided to put our money there for a while (it will also stop us window shopping for a house as we both agree it is not a good time to buy one now!!!). We just didn't want to make transfer on Sunday as it wasn't going to be activated then anyway and we left till morning. Oh well, fingers crossed we will get the money sooner that in 10 days!!!!
