Checking my linked account and email: nothing. It's like it was years ago, waiting for the postman on Valentine's Day! Doesn't ING Direct love me after all (and all those sweet things it said when we first met!)?

Oh and watch ING's share dive today as they declare ING said separately it would cancel dividends for the rest of 2008 and review executive pay.. From the BBC this morning

checked once today with my Lloyds a/c - CHAPS 08/10 am. Can I resist checking again until the 1st post saying money received is posted??????????? Still trying to be positive...

A couple of objective Monday morning points:

1. Who cares if ING are recieving £xxbn of capital? I bet most of the payments we are waiting for are going to UK banks that have also just recieved the same, like Nat West, RBS, HBOS, LLY-TSB. It's not relevant to these missing tranfers.

2. It is only 8am. Still, I said that on Friday and now look like a fool.

I have e-mailed ING with a scan of my KE statement, simply asking them to confirm that they even recognise that they owe me £35k. That's my first objective as right now I don't even have that as things stand.

What a shambles.....
