And I would have been happy to have left it with ING. Its just as safe as any other outfit. I cant understand why they did not give a choice either, to return to KE (now ING) account or send it onwards. Bad business judgement. I dont thisnk I will be putting my money in there.

No, I'm a bacs from 7th still waiting,just spent a useless 30mins on phone to ing who can't even promise monday- I think they're going under as they've run out of cash. Sorry to be so negative but it's all very well those who have their cash saying don't worry..throughly and utterly !!!!ed off. I now have to phone my husband in Budapest and tell him we STILL don't have it, oh, and he'll have to put his dental work on a cc.....another 'effin weekend of worryin'....

It is now after close of business. However if ING staff are working beyond 5.00, the money will be sent. It is unlikely to show up in accounts until Monday, but who knows! It might not be a bad idea to check just once more before bedtime, and once again tomorrow, just in case the banks IT system is able to handle any after hours payments.

I get a small pension paid into my Nationwide account at 1 a.m. every two weeks - so there is still hope. I know that Nationwide staff aren't required at the receiving bank for money to be credited! I still have 34 minutes left before I phone ING though. A promise is a promise and they have broken theirs don't you think?

CHAPS transfer tuesday 7th after 2pm - showed up as £0 on the 8th, like everyone else not showing in Lloyds TSB. Add me to the list.

Yes a guy said KE were going to carry on til 6pm I think, but as I said - it's our banks CHAPS depts that need to work late as well, and my branch were staying on after 5pm.
